    There's a stress test going on. As far as I understood. It is open for everyone. It even says "Start playing today - Sign Up"

    Yes, I play it, and I dunno who Gandolph is, but if you were meaning Gandalf than no. You cannot play any of the heroic names.

    You can sign up for the beta yes on their website, it is NOT open beta, you're not gaurenteed an invite unless you do their pre order deal. 

    If you get in you are still under the NDA.    As far as I know the NDA has not been lifted.

    NOT for everyone, that link just brings you to their normal beta sign up page, I did that weeks ago and am still not in....



    don't go there expecting to play this weekend.

    So Far a great game! Very nice content and impressive low level content. I need to test the high level one but wait for few weeks ^^

    But please remember you are under NDA, which happens to be a real world legal agreement you've entered :)

    It's a pretty good game, the graphics are nice and I'm happy its not point and click.

    What part of you're under the nda dont' some of you understand? Non Disclosure Agreement  you can't tell people you're in, you can't talk about what you see etc etc

    I've been playing too many F2P eastern imports - can't believe I've found myself missing point-and-click movement.  As much as I used to hate it, I've realized that it does have its advantages.

    LOTRO is still in closed BETA. The NDA is still in place and any post regarding the actual BETA content is in direct violation of the NDA.

    FYI: Saying you heard this information from a friend won't help you. You are the one posting and the one in violation.

    Im sorry sir but you are wrong. I dont want to argue with you but in order for a NDA to be binding you have to agree to it . I seriously was not in beta although I know 2 people who happen to be (actually one was and the other just got in I believe).Take what I said with a grain of salt, or a huge pile of salt. but please do not tell me im legally binded by a contract I didnt sign.

    It seems very odd to me that you would care. But if your gonna start saying such things you really should know the facts.

    And by the way if you go to all the games in beta and check the hype meters people are openly violating NDA's. maybe you should spend time on that instead of me. up to you.

    PS oddly you can find everything in my post somehwere else on this website! if I had to I could easily prove that!

    PSS seriously though why would you care?  BTW I was told things about the game that are NEW IDEAS to MMOs', true I dont know for sure they are true but out of respect I didnt comment on them, which is the spirit of NDA's. Even if I had played beta they wouldnt truly care if I said I didnt like the way they rendered water!

    But again, I dont understand your problem with my post. it gave away no secrets even if it were all true.

    True but your friends are. Legally they could be liable for slipping the info to you. Just a question of whether Turbine has the inclination to investigate and/or litigate. Not to mention whether you are in violation of MMORPG.COM ToS by posting said info. Not trying to be a jerk but do tread carefully.

    ..He didn't sign anything so he can say whatever he wants, im not in beta, i've never seen it, but sod it, i'm going to say it's unoriginal and uninspired with average graphics.

    Now come and track me down lol.

    People act as if NDA's are like enough to send you to prison, i 'agree' to a TOS on every forum i login to, maybe they can send me to prison for this flame, as it has the same weight as an NDA.
