MMORPG Staff - remove D&L listing please.

This games launch was from the outset full of unfulfilled promises of content and features for the game, but this is not the key problem as some people can't help how good they can make a product. However why this game should rearly be removed is thier continous disregard for the LAW. They have scammed people out of money through the entire life of the game and even before launch! I'am sure the majority of people here are aware of this, but people new to this game or MMOs in general may not be. Having a game company as deceitful as they are to be allowed the free market visability this respectable site offers is rearly unacceptable. As the main reason this game is still running, is so they can continue to unlawfully charge people for subscriptions / cancletions or whatever scam they think up next for it. Having new people unaware to the problems join the game would make it worse. Please remove D**k & L****t, or at the least leave an official warning as to how thier current policy of subscription denies you the ability to cancel subsriptions without paying a penality clause. Thanks for your time if anyone read this.

Supporting a game that does in fact mess with ppl's money as well as the no cancelation without a fee policy is outrageous. MMORPG.COM should not allow games like this on their site.
have gotten robbed by d&l a long time ago. It think it should stay in the list.
I don't think most people would even know about D&L if it wasn't for this site.
And I don't think criminal organizations should be on this site.
Are they gonna let the mob advertise on this site too?
Also, you'll notice that there really is no active advertising here for DnL, only the game in the list and these forums. At first, I was one of the ones begging for this section to be deleted, but as I came to realize the benefits, I am glad this section is here to inform people of Farlan's scams and keep the schills/straggling fanboi's at bay.
I don't know whether to agree or disagree. I think almost everyone would agree that Dark and Light is a very poor mmorpg, and even more important, it is run by incompetent underachievers who border on criminal. If the game was not listed here, players might not be warned of this. But then again, no listing can say alot, perhaps it says that this game isn't even worth a look, for free.
The one thing I would like to remain is the warning that once you start poking around in Farlan's game, you might be tempted to subscribe, and then god help you if you ever want to cancel or get a refund. If you have questions for their customer service or tech support, it'll take more than God to help you.
It's not so much the game that should be taken off this site as the company that is responsible for it
Leave it on here. I never agree with censoring information, even when the motivations are alturistic....
People need to know....this is a place they can find out..... its not advertising, its keeping people informed....

Well, I don't know if DnL should be removed from the MMORPG.COM game list, and then if these boards should be closed. What I see is that the wonderful job a few fans made in the past to help promoting this game is cleary visible here. IMO, the 2 sticky threads have contributed a lot to convince people to buy DnL keys, since there was no other publicity than on the Internet.
Wouldn't it be quite logical to create another sticky thread including all the messages people here posted to warn other people there was something wrong with DnL /Farlan/NPCube, and this from the days when betatesters did not hesitate to disclose info as to the true status of the game and highlighted the multiple lies from Farlan/NPCube. In this very thread it would be quite normal I guess also to quote the multiple replies from those people on the boards who literally harassed non-fans who spoke about all the dysfunctionning communication around this game. Easy to promote a game and soil other people in order to silence them, comfortably hidden behind anonymous accounts, and then disapperar from the scene when times have changed. BTW, any news on Alchemic Dreams's current activities? Withdrawn from the scene too?
Today, as it stands, newcomers could believe that the downfall of Dark and Light was due to the so-called attacks against the project, whereas much on the contrary it was the very logical effect of the viral marketing campaign, which in my humble opinion, is bound to revive some time soon, because the "team" has the means to sustain it. Revisionism? Ever heard of a Chinese version? A kind of SoG-isn't-DnL again? History always teaches lessons. And these boards are quite an important part of History. People always tend to forget, to forgive and hope for better days. DnL/Farlan/NPCube should be put down in a History book.

I did some investigating at work a week or two back, it's shocking how some of the people who act the same on other boards today, did so here with DnL. They are career fanboi's, that get carried away by their own enthusiasm, without objectively looking at the facts. They'll learn this skill one day, it's all part of becoming an adult
I uncovered one guy, who is on the vanguard forums now flaming 'non-believers' who did the same with approximately 7 other games, including this one. Some people have no self-pride lol.

Funny. I was actually thumbing through the game list looking for a game to hold me over for awhile. Came to this post while investigating D&L. Glad I did.
D&L needs to remain.... this forum saved me money and heartache.
If you go to the website the forums are desolate, no bodies there, and no bodies coming back really. The website was last updated on the 16th, and for what? A link asking you to actually vote..

Who in their right mind would actually nominate this game?! I mean, back a year ago SURE. But now? Holy smokes.. Someone's been on the crack pipe too long.And, what's worse you might ask? They STILL charge people for the game they aren't even playing! Criminals.. Bastards all of them.
Help keep people informed. Help people that are looking for a new MMO to get the facts (or opinions) from other's experiences. As painful as they may have been....
