Every other MMORPG allows customization, why would WAR be any different?

I am sure you will be able to customize your characters.  They made mention of being able to wear trophies of battles as you go up in level.  This should allow you to outfit your look with all sorts of items.  Most likely there will be customization like every other game on the basics at least during character creation.

Interviews with the Devs and Paul Barnett have revealed that there will be a high level of character customisation, which will add to Mythics idea of a "silhouette" conning system. Basically that means that "what you see is what you get" with other characters. From the screens I've seen, there will be a wide variety of armour types, clothing and different weapons that your character can use.

Customisation has always been a major part of the TT games; I fully expect Mythic to carry that over into their MMO.

Ohh, I was just alluding to the fact that WAR seems to be getting a lot of WoW fans of the troll variety lately, saying that WAR looks like WoW, it plays like WoW - "oh you might as well play WoW" - et cetera. Anyway. I don't want to hijack this thread a non-related discussion, and I just found a few expamples of customisation that Mythic have released screenies for. So here goes - something useful!

Oh, and something I totally forgot when it comes to character customisation too... It's been said that your character will change physically as they become more powerful. Orcs will grow - become taller and more powerfully built, Dwarf beards will get longer, and servants of Chaos will become "more vile"... although what that means for chaos, I can only imagine. Perhaps they will grow tentacles, or get extra arms, or become covered in spikes? The old rules for Chaos mutations were quite in-depth and varied, so I expect Mythic will have a good time with the implementation of this

WAR is bringing somethign new to the table whe it comes to character costumization: As you andvance in ranks, tier and complete combat scenarios your character will adquire "Trophies of war" for example: You character will grow and look stronger. You wil lbe able to wear war trophies suchs as: skulls of enemies, scars, tattoss, eye patches, etc. It will vary between empires but basically what they are looking for you to know how bad ass is your adversary. I was told tha at the begining you will be able to select diferent templates for hair, face, beard etc, but as you change and grow no character will look the same.
