Anyone here download the client via internet?   I can't imagine downloading 18 gigs.   How long does it take?

    depends on how fast you download.  It would take 56k weeks.  I download near 500kb/s and that would probably take a few hours.  And by few I mean 5+

    I downloaded it, took me around 2 and a half hours which was about right and I was getting 870kb/s most of it, but I did get spikes where it jumped from the 800 to 400.

    Good luck and try looking for download calculators on google

    im in minnesota and just bought my copy of VG a couple hours ago. i check 4 best buys, 4 wal-marts, and 1 game stop. the only store that had VG was game stop. goodluck

    Fortunately, the DL should be compressed. More than likely you'll be looking at a 5-6GB DL instead of the full blown 17 :)

    I'm living in the Netherlands and havent been able to buy a retail version of the game yet, I've been to 4 different gameshops and none had vg soh yet (I could order it from online gameshops but instead I rather buy it from a shop) Last thing I heard was it will be in shops here around 2 feb.. although I have no clue why

    Im from the UK. I bought the game online at play.com for £17.99 and have been emailed today to say the game is in the post. I should receive the game at work tomorrow in the post so it looks like a few trips to the loo to read the manual!

    I do believe it's $15 per month, in the U.S. of A.

    I'm waiting... there's a good chance I'll need to pump

    $400 into my computer to run Vanguard with any decent

    graphics, without choppy stuttering hitching.  I asked

    in another thread for people who've gotten started to

    let me know what Minimum System Requirements are.
