How come the females pictured on the box look damn smokin' hot and the female models in the game look like butt ugly ceramic manaquins with creepy Stepford Wife eyes? The toon models in this game are pretty horrible.

The models are alright, 'cept for the dwarves. I don't know what kind of genetic mishap occured in the mists of Telos' past that caused dwarves to have their spinal columns fused directly to their hips, but it ain't pretty. Maybe there's a quest to locate their pelvis somewhere in the game that I haven't found yet.
One of the main reasons i dislike Vanguard are the character models.
They are to thin, to flat. And anatomically completely incorect.
Not to mention that you have just few hair options for each race...making basically everyone look the same

3/4 of 19 races look appealing to me. Way to go Sigil, specially in a mmo where the look of a character is so important.
People just have way too much time on their hands. What is the purpose of something like this other than to try and get some type of hornet's nest all stirred up.
If you don't like the freaking graphics it's very easy: Don't freaking play the game and move on. Don't come on here and try to get your opionion validated by other like minded morons.

Yeah thats advertisement for ya, stuff on boxes, posters and such always look better then the real deal. I think u hit right on the spot, character models in VSoH look fairly ugly (artisticaly). Not as ugly as plastic barbie dolls of the original EQ2 at release, but still ugly. The rest of the world is simply magnificent, so I just zoomout to max distance in 3rd view and models dont bother me anymore.

looks like 1 person in his basement made the avatars. I want Sex, Drugs, and Violence, (why do you think Fallout was such an awesome game) all of those things are interpreted in a video through graphics and sound, Sex is SEx, violence is violence, drugs is music and background type graphics. This is pretty much just drugs at this point, and that's only if you crank up your graphic settings.
Edit: although getting the occasional crit for 63 kind of adds a bit to the violence, bam
