Where can i download Shadowbane?

Ive try to download it from gamershell and gamedaly but when the download reachs 100% its stoped like the computer processing something.Ive awaited a 1/4 hour but nothin hapend.So where can i downloadit?

Also, you can no longer purchase the cd's in any store as the game is now free software with no subscription.

You rock. Nice to see someone on a message board that's truly helpful, without being a smartass. There's not a lot of "just plain helpfulness" going around.

P.S. Do you really just play EQ2? If you were into one of the free games I'm thinking of trying, like Shadowbane, I might be inclined to download and start one just on your say-so. I'm a Beta Tester, in Closed Beta on one game, and Open Beta on another, with a few months to go before they go Live, and I stopped my subscription games awhile back. I played EQ2 at the beginning, in Beta, and then for maybe 6 months after that, on Test Server mainly. Played WoW, wasn't that much fun. Was in EQ for a long long time, before the server merge, don't think I'll ever play it again. So, I check out Free Games these days, Shadowbane's been on the list, just spending most of my playing time in the Beta games.

Right now I'm not really playing even EQ2 very much. I'm kind of in a slump and just don't feel like playing. I'm most looking forward to Gods and Heroes and Tabula Rasa. I'm desperatley hoping one of them is my next long-term game. i hate playing for 6 weeks then moving on. I need another game that does what UO, EQ, DAoC, SB and WoW all did... kept me playing for a year or more.
If you're looking into the free games then I'd suggest Sword of the New World. It is the English release of Granado Espada and judging by the list of features at that link it actually brings some new things to the table. I'll certainly be checking it out for being able to play 3 of your own characters at once if nothing else lol.

back to the subject i wish to download shadowbane also without purchasing the disk but fileplanet wants you to subscribe so where should i get this from
