hey all,
i am heading to college in the fall (university of florida if you care) and intend on enjoying my freedom from my parents with a return to AC. I was on since pretty much day 1, and I really enjoyed it (with the exception of the haxx0rz, et cetera.) I have to say I didn't have as much fun with that game in the later stages as opposed to the early ones.
Looking at all the games out lately, though, AC still seems the best.
What do you say, is it worth it?
Or should I wait for something else?

Honestly? Come on back, things are only getting better in Asheron's Call from here on out. There are a few people who dislike the game now because of certain changes, but these changes are for the better to be honest. I'd say come on back and try a world out like Thistledown or even Frostfell or if you want to wait I'd say another month or so, give the new server out a try which is what alot of people will be doing.
Keep fighting that fight.
Well, what I'm worried about is what made me leave, the macros and people taking advantage of fellowship bonuses, stuff like that. I realize it's probably been all balanced now, but still, there's some doubt in my mind.
well i quit AC
and after AC2, FFXI, and betas for like L2, horizons, saga of ryzom, etc. etc. etc. i am coming back to AC again. if even only for a little while. i know that right now the only thing even appealing to me in the future is WoW and thats still probably 6 months or longer away.
i can't wait to get back though.
all I can say to the above posts is Amen brother. Just trying to get back that feeling of walking around Dereth (and a few other worlds) for the first time...
I did go back to AC about 6 months ago, but the no guild chat channels cut my time to just a few days. I saw allegiance chat channels where added - but not seen any feedback on how good they are
