Yeah your right ...It`ll probably be more. 9.5 at the least.
I dont agree with half the ratings that are up there... try out betas or trials and see if you like the game for yourself. If you dont like it then find another game. Just because a game is highly rated on some website doesnt actualy make it good.
As for the rating, I expect it will only drop. Most games when they first come out have their highest rating at the start on MMORPG.com. After that they seem to drop a bit and finaly level out.
Well .. look at it this way, vanguard is soooo good even people who dont play it hang out on its forums ´24 7
I am surprised that it is still in the top7.
There is no way this game deserve to be in top7, nor even remotedly close to CoH/CoV.
It will prolly stop at 7.5 or so.

As do most peoples playing. All 227 of them; including the staff!
When I play a good MMO, I don't come to MMORPG.com every day, my ranking drop; I come and post 1 or 2 messages here and there...and that is it.
DnL and Mourning also have huge attendancies in their times...and we all know it wasn't a good thing. SWG also has a LOT of posts from peoples who are not playing it. Yet, in all these 3 examples, even this ill-talking help the games a LOT. It bring the light on them and give them some more peoples to try/play it. But even with this help, they all have issues...of varying importance.

You fail to understand. I have nothing against raiding, as long as it is not enforced on groupers...all this talking, yet sooo little understanding. Sometimes I wonder if peoples will ever understand. I DON'T CARE ABOUT RAIDING, as long as it has no impact whatsoever on grouping. Adapt raiding, remove it, whatever, as long as it has no impact on grouping. I am not angry at raiding itself, I am angry that it has some exclusive grouping tools...

Í apologize for my last coment ...im feeling a bit silly today...I was up till 6 am playing vanguard and am now hopped up on tons of caffeine at work:)
anyhow to each thier own i say ...to me the games a 9 as well as to others to you it may be a 7. in this case niether one of us is right or wrong, and its pretty dumb to think so.

Arguing and saying its "The" peoples rating at this point so early is stupid. This goes out to both sides of the rating debate..

9.5? Why so? It's not radically different from WoW, but with much worse performance and much less solo friendly.You left out IMHO!!! This game is so much more than COH it is incredible, Iceola level 50 iceblaster, I also leveled a Nerco to 35 in COV before the cap changed. Both were max level at the time I quit playing. Auged up and no where to go P. lol. IMHO of course. COH is a great game if you like the flash bang I am maxed type of game. I did enjoyed it.
In fact the collision system in VG reminds me of COH, seems to work very well. And I love /rope in VG nice not to have to petition anytime you do get stuck between two rocks, lol.

The extreme lovers and the extreme haters rating VG would have absolutely no impact on it's average 8.2 rating from my understanding of how the rating scale here works. Extremes on both sides are simply left completely out of the equation to try and get a more accurate and honest average rating score. For example, if you really wanted to lower the score of Vg with your rating, then rating it honestly at a 5.2 would likely have more impact on it then just putting its score at a 0. Same thing on the other side of the spectrum.
Even though it's current score is with so many bugs, that score will very likely go down somewhat over the next six months or so before finally leveling off after getting thousands of votes. It will probably go down a little, but not too much. Six months from now, I would expect it to have somewhere between a 7.7 and 8.1 score. Time will tell. I highly doubt that it will be 8.2 or higher six months from now. 9.5 is ridiculous and will NEVER happen with any mmo on this site unless they drastically change how the current rating formula works.
