How does the final product play?

I was in the recent Fileplanet beta test for Vanguard and it plays pretty poorly on my PC

Specs

Athlon 64 3200Geforce 7900GT

2gigs PC3200 ram

SoundBlaster X-Fi

Is the final product improved over the most recent beta?

Thanks

Well my frames were around 30 to 50 but I would get a lot of point where my hard drive would read and it would stutter in game.

    What is hitching?

I think they did inact some optimization because my frame rates have gone up 5-10 frames on average.

Tried: Vanguard, UO, Rappelz, Archlord, RF Online, SWG, WAR, Ryzom, Anarchy Online, AC, APB, STO, Perfect World, Black Prophecy...

Played: EQ,EQII, Lineage, Lineage 2, GW, EVE Online, AoC, DoAC, iRO, AC2, WoW, SWTOR, Runes of Magic, Allods, Rift..

Yes the final is a boatload better than beta as far as performance goes. I have gained quite a bit for FPS than others, I think people still playing on a vgcient.ini they have edited will have poor performance.

With you havging 2 gigs of ram and not using integrated sound things should be kosher. . .

can you not log into Vanguard or something?

I have 2g of ram atm just wondering if  upgrading to 3 or 4mb would increase my fps at all. My other specs are 3.6ghz p4, radeon x850 XT PE.

While the game runs smoothly on my system (if you look at the specs I guess it should),  its a huge dissappointment.  The graphics are inconsistant, and stereo software sound is abysmal.  Add to that a half baked user interface....  I saw someone said this game looked like eq3, that I dont get, at this time eq2 is far and away the better and more polished game...

    Specs:

    4Ggig PC6400 ram

    2x nVidia 8800GTX (SLi)

I could be wrong but I would get a new video card if I were you.

yes but if you remember at launch eq2 was as buggy as help and unpolished much like vanguard is atm. Give it time and it will get better.

Well i have been playing all day so far, I have found it running smoothly as of yet, if i keep my ingame settings to high performance and my gsl and 3d settings on my vidcard at  a good performance level,  If i try to run on high quality on both of aforementioned settings its beutiful but it does effect the fps, but by lowering the performance in my ati toolbar and ingame it runs perfect. I havent gotten any bugged out quests yet which is good i suppose, im on a rp server the people there are nice as of yet, i havnt used iggy, put a cple people on fl, The quests i have done so far as i traverse through each area seem to be all linked to the same areas from the grouping of the village npc quest givers, i chose a warrior, she seems fine so far, havnt had too many fatalities, she is female , and let me tell you , you can make her mid section very large lol, good eye candy there.

    playing eq2 and two worlds

Dude.. no shit...  of course eq2 is a a more polished game. i remember when eq 2 first came out you cant tell me everyone thought it was gonna suck.. same as wow.. you cant say that VG is gonna suck just because it hit a rough spot coming out... Its saposed to feel like eq 3 in the sence that the eq 1 feel to a game was brought back. the fear of dieing, the fear of exploring new zones, the excitment of a noob when a high level sorcerer comes riding in on a white stallion with all its bling and you say "im gonna be that good someday".. and more.
