I say we boycott SOE. We need to make a point to these theifs. SOE dont care about it players, SOE dont listen to its player base.
I say we boycott SOE and we treat SOE like it has treated its players. We need to cause SOE pain. I say we start with this website. We should all have negitive ratings on ALL SOE GAMES. I dont see any reason EQ2 is on the top 7 and vangaurd too. I dont care how good of a game it is. SOE is getting free advertisement from us not doing our job. Im setting all my SOE games ratings to the lowest. THhs is a protest / boycott.
I dont want SOE lovers to do this. Im only asking the people who were lied to by SOE countless times. If your a SOE lover please love SOE and leave us alone.

you honestly think that making those game's rating lower will effect SOE in any way?
only way to hurt SOE is to not buy an SOE product..any Sony product....but the few thousands gamers who have held on to their hate won't make a drop in the bucket anyway.
Personally, These games are not owned by the players. Players are paying for a service. If a company chooses to make a change in that service then they can. If you don;t agree with said change, don;t use the product anymore. pretty simple really but, to allow a game or game company to effect you in such a way is pretty sad really.
I was a SWG player...the CU came out I didn;t like it so I stopped playing. do I hold a grudge? nope, not at all. life is far too short.
What pisses me off, though, is that I have the original discs with the original game that I want to play, but I can't. I laid out $50 for the game, and so much more for each month I've played. Without the players, this game would've been nothing. Now the discs are pretty much useless to me, except they might make nice coasters.
Everytime someone mentions World of Warcraft, I think of Star Wars Galaxies, and how they screwed up the game to make it "fast paced action" when most people were content with the game they had. I miss the way the old version of the game played. The way the professions were set up were so original (or at least I thought it was). You can master up to 3 different things at once. Now you can only go down one road, and almost all of them invovle combat, which gets boring quick when that's the only thing to do. I'm just hoping that one day I'll read something somewhere that someone got the crazy idea to bring this game back to its original glory just for kicks.
I played SWG from day 1.Launch date.I still have my "special edition" all boxed up sitting on a shelf collecting dust.Its a fricking GAME get over it.It has been 2 years since the cu overhaul.So yes i know EXACTLY what im talking about.

Hey man, you're already about 2 years too late to suggest a boycott.
Before the CU happened, they were already swinging the nerf bat wildly. People were getting frustrated. Once the CU was instituted, SWG stopped being the game so many of us wanted to play, and became something else.
So, we all stopped playing. SWG already lost *my* $30 per month (yes, two accounts) and my now-husband's $30 per month and his best friend's $30 per month (or was that $45?) and my ex-boyfriend's $30 per month and my guildmates' accounts...
Some of the more determined ones hung in there for another few months, but as far as I know, not a single person in my old guild remains. Most of them went to WoW... since SWG's devs decided that's what everyone wanted to play, and made SWG into a sad copy of it, I think everyone decided the devs must have been right... and went and played the real thing.
You are way, way, way too late to suggest a boycott. Besides, if they didn't get the idea that perhaps they were misreading their consumers back when they lost 75% or more of their accounts, I don't think losing a few of the current ones is going to attract their attention.
