So much for the free 30 days.

in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes
January 29th was my first day in the game, I Dl'ed that day. Go to log in today and wham please enter credit card info so sony can charge you $14.99 for 1 month of play. It will not let me log in without doing so. Where'd my free 30 days go for purchase SOE?



Im gonna submit a ticket lets see what they say, or don't say.

    First month will still be free. Just add credit card and start playing. And if you dont want anything being charged cancel account and you can still play your free month.

    Every MMORPG that I have played gives you 30 days free but they want your credit card so they can bill you when the 30 days is up.  You still get to play for free until the 30 days when they bill you.

    Unless your account got borked they are going to say you are not charged until the next billing cycle.    They are just getting the accounts in order, but you shouldnt be charged, if you are dispute it but I think it would only happen if there was a billing error.

    LOL< tryin to be slick. . .this is your first MMO I see.  You need to enter your contact information for all MMOs you first start playing.  Otherwise people that get banned from games for cheating would be able to just jump right back in for violating TOS in their 30 days free. . .among other reasons. . .

         30 Days Free with Proof of CC. Basically thats what it adds up to. I've done this with many Mmorpgs and never once was I mischarged so dont be afraid to add your cc info. Its up to you*shrugs*

    There's a huge post on this on the official tech support forums....it's happening to me too. I'm talking about if you've actually purchased the full game and can't login, of course...

    There's a huge post on this on the official tech support forums....it's happening to me too. I'm talking about if you've actually purchased the full game and can't login, of course...

    Yeah, people who first purchased the game and registered were able to get through without entering credit card information. . .Sony fixed that immediately.

    I always sign up like usual, then cancel like later that day or the next so that if I get bored of the game and forget about my 30 days it doesn't matter.  If I like the game I just sign back up.  That's what I did with RF Online and D&D

    I am afraid that I will forget, so I can canel on the next day, but will still keep on playing for the next month right? I always used game cards. :P

    Generally if you have game cards available you could also register one of those and you will still get the free month.

    Thats the norm, the first 30 days are free, but they want a CC for when they are up so they can start your subscription.  So on the 31st, day you'll be charged 14.99, not before.
