Quitting WoW and looking for tips on a new MMO!

Hey everyone and thanks for reading this thread. =) Due to that Blizzard have become lazyasses who takes income for granted I have chosen to quit WoW and play a new MMO. At first I tried out Guild Wars, but since there was not much improvement to be done I was not very pleased with that game. I kinda like the more action oriented MMO:s where you can play Solo a lot and where you can increase skills and professions. Simply: I want a game that lasts for some time and that has some Ultra Elite gear which I will never be able to get my hands on by playing 3-5 hours a day. The graphics need to be good, but the cost/fee does not concern me that much really. Thanks in advance!

    try eve online, only a niche mmo until the next (better) space game comes along, but if great graphics and brutal pvp is your style then it will keep you entertained. not for thin skinned folks hehe. but fun none the less, and did i mention brutal?

    can you smell that?!!...............there is nothing quite like it.....................the smell of troll in the morning............i love that smell.

    Lineage2 has awesome graphics and gameplay, I loike it much better than WoW. But the character selection is a tad limited and the grind to level....is friggin brutal.  Only the hardest core players with no life at all can sustain in this game.  Also so many people buy the game currency online that to be competitive might cost you tons of real money....which is stupid.

    I've been playing RYzom for 5 months and still enjoy it immensely, DL the free trial and give it a shot.

    On top of that L2 really only has as many levels as there are item grades.  In other words, levels 1-19 don't mean diddly.  I mean, you get more hitpoints and mana, but don't get access to any new equipment.  Just my opinion as far as that game goes.

    Thanks for the tips, but I´m not sure if that´s what I´m looking for. =) Lineage 2 looks too much like Guild Wars probably, which I have learned to hate by now, and Final Fantasy is just a bit too...childish. =) Thanks anyway!

    Eve online looks really cool. =) I´ll give it a try, eventhou I´m not too much into the sci fi thingys. =) But a test can never hurt.

    hum from WoW>EvE  thats not easy, EvE .... if you make it passed the tutorial then you might enjoy it, but not many make it passed that, information overload IMHO.

    p2p: try EQ2, the best one, or just waiting for the Lord of the ring online and Conan

    f2p: try Minions of Mirth  or PlaneShift if you prefer gameplay,  if you like the korean type game(pure grinding games), try Rappelz, Kalonline, SilkRoad Online,etc.

    dont have plans to quit..besides im planning to have a flying mount and im purchasing a gold from olo0t.com to have 1..lol
