It's pretty nice. I got an I-gear myself lvl 67. Kinda hard to get those elusive skill opening cards lol. But lately with the changes, my gear is not as good as it used to. Nevertheless the game is fun to play, it's different from traditional mmo's
It's a nice change. It is debatable how much of a traditional MMO it is, I feel it plays much more like an arena game, but then I never got very high.
The backgrounds and enemies are fairly well detailed, actually looking like they could exist.
The flight combat engine is nicely realised and pseudo realistic (stopping and landing your aircraft is a pain in the neck).
The majority of the community is friendly, for example, I got a tell from someone asking, Can I duel you? before they challenged. That was a first for me. While they are friendly however, conversation seems to be kept to a minimum, apart from the standard sales notices in general chat.
I salute anyone who can RP in this game for any length of time, the single place where you walk around as your character is a generic ready room, complete with shops, I managed to get a good one going once, setting my character up as a new Rookie (ala Top Gun).
The early game is mission foccussed, normally go there and kill variety, but with some nice get to point B tunnel flights. I have not reached the top level of play where Faction PvP is the norm, but since it's air to air combat, the 360 degree movement, and the robust combat design should make it a very hair raising, and fun experience.
I think the best part of this game is the fact that ist getting away from fantasy mmorpgs just plain battling all the time and chucks u up there in a plane i admit i liked it
I played SCO for quite some time. While what the above poster says is true, do not forget that SCO managed to make combat very interesting. I really love SCOs open combat with realm versus realm wars that hapn 24/7. Sure SCO is not a well polished game, but it did manage to capture a War, PvP, or RvR element that is interesting for many hours of fun. Not many games have that sort of epic combat.

I might try it...it looks kinda cool
well i thought it was really different so i played it for a good while before quiting. After so long i found it to be to boring, 30 lvls later i guess
well i played sco and i got to say it lacks any help from the gm's and plus there is no events
it is nothing but straight pvp u can hardly grind the nations are imblanced ppl quiting let and right
the skill's lack something to be desired so i would say this game is not good to play
