WoW Spin-offs > WoW?

Looking back at WoW, I'm still sighing and thinking 'why?' however irronically everything based off WoW itself I still consider quite fun and enjoyable, the WoW TCG is actally quite fun to play,  Heroes of WoW I still consider one of the funnest things i've read, quite a few videos I've watched I consider very entertaining, the books are very good as well..

Yet I still cannot stand the actal MMO.. odd isn't it?

Anyone else get that from somethings?

Bring on the WARRRRGGHH!

    what is a WoW spinoff, I know Vanguard is meant to take some inspiration from WoW though also it's roots EQ, and maybe dungeon runners. What else?

    Actually the developers of Vanguard went back to the muds for inspiration, not WoW.  WoW is not the center of the world.  In fact, to the majority of us out in the "real world" it's an overhyped piece of shZt.

    WoW is a Phantasy Star III spinoff. Let's look at the glaring facts:



    You earn xp and stuff.

    You start as lvl 1.

    Some of the items include swords and even armor.



    The only reason Sega can't sue is because blizzard has so much money that they can afford better lawyers.

    I see my topic has been turned into yet ANOTHER 'WoW is better that VG' one, welcome to IhateanyMMORPGthatdoesn'tmakeme'popular'.com ppl , bloody sheep..

    If people actally READ the bloodly thing it's about products that are from the WoW franchise but not WoW itself, NOT other MMOs, but I guess anything can be turned into 'WoW is the center of the universe', for example I could talk about having breakfest right now and some WoWboi would start yattering on how WoW's cooking tradeskill is teh bestest... Wouldn't be surpised if it forms it's own religon at this point.. Imagine if WoW had to shut down suddenly we'll get mass suiside with 'OMG my life is meanless without WoW'..

    Sad isn't it?

    I feel your pain kremlik.



    I love the movie contest made from WoW and all the little comics, even the lore... but the game itself, is not something I like. Its one of those things, you like the Idea, and story, hate the object.

    Don't you mean WoW merchandise instead of WoW spin-offs? To me, WoW spin-offs insinuates something different which is the way I've answered.

    that's because all the stuff around the actual MMO IS fun... you naturally will NEVER see the reality, say what needs to be done ingame to see the things "live" you see on vids, for example...



    World of Grindcraft....



    - Grind Pots

    - Grind Resistances

    - Grind Reputation

    - Grind Gear so you can grind for better Gear....

    - Grind Honor

    - Grind Arena Points
