Ok. I appologize for making a few comments quite fast but they where steps on finding that "right" MMO that happen to lead to this thread.
I need to know which out of DAoC , L2 , andWoW has effort and time. Or in other words, if a single person has enough time, that person can become very good. And the fact that there is pretty much no skill in choosing the right attacks and building up your character.
Which has more skill (time also), but alot of actual skill in knowing how to build your character and how to work it. Including knowing the inner works of the skills your character has equipped. Because I want to be able to ACTUALLY be good. And know that I can work my character rather then being better because I spent 12 hours a day raiding for gear! ^_^
THanks and Peace.

Um, if those are your criteria, I'd suggest none of the above.
EVE Online and Anarchy Online, for different reasons, are easily the best two MMOs in both categories.
No man is an island, entire of itself; every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. any man's death diminishes me, because I am involved in mankind, and therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.

I would think WoW wouldnt be for you...yes there can be some skill in it but imo its about 85% gear 15% player knowledge
Your level, items and class are the main deciding factor in PVP outcomes. Then comes player skill.

Yeh WOW is very Gear based : If you have greens and blues and come up against someone whose gots all purples then you will lose unless they are sooooo crap.
