You know I always had my doubts about how the MMORPG.com community truly felt about VG, but i was proven wrong, having VG the top rated MMO is quite an accomplishment if I don't say so myself. I mean VG can definitely improve in some ways, like adding chat bubbles, or at least making it an option, from what I'm hearing maybe a little better customer support, though I haven't had any problems. Also, though I'm sure in time, more customization options, some tidbits to improve the fun factor, like more intricate starting quests, better animation, sheaths, more realistically placed items on the body (i.e. bow or shield or sword in mid air by your side), prettier spell castings, cooler sword movements. Of course these are small insignificant things but I'm just showing both sides of the coin. As a matter of fact I am in awe that people still complain about performance, I'm running a pentium 4, nVidia x800 pro, 2 gb RAM rig(better comp coming soon), and running with little to no lag on highest performance(please don't complain about the fact that you might have to run on highest performance, at least you're playing, and this gives you the opportunity to save up). I hope great success for Vg, and i know I'll be unconditionally addicted for years to come.
Regards

Frankly the MMORPG.com rating isnt accurate. If it were, WoW would be number 1.

And at restaurants.com Mcdonalds would be number one also? It's not all about quantity man, look at EVE. It's about quality sometimes too.
I agree Wargames, and Vanguard will only improve!

Saying that, IMO, Vanguards quality is decidedly low.---
You can have as many chat windows as you want. Click on the name tab and drag it wherever you want. Right click in a window to get to the options screen. You can add more tab/windows and configure each with channels, colors, etc...
I myself have the combat window above my main chat window, so you can actually follow the chat while you are fighting...

Saying that, IMO, Vanguards quality is decidedly low. And you get to voice that opinion in the form of a vote for the ratings, just like everyone else. The ratings here at MMORPG.COM accurately portrays the results of the members of this site that took the time to vote - that's it.

Saying that, IMO, Vanguards quality is decidedly low. First of all, i specifically stated that it is how MMORPG views the game, and since it is a particularly high rating, i guess there weren't too many derankers. And of course you are entitled to your wrong opinion, though saying anything is going to improve, I presume, must mean it is meager to you which means you must have a warped perception of VG and therein you are simply flaming about something you don't approve of. Indeed.well its players who vote, so must be number 1, myself find vanguard extreamly good, and high quality, yes there are bugs, but there are bugs in every game
Take the Magic: The Gathering 'What Color Are You?' Quiz.

Did you ever play SWG, or i think EQ/EQ2?, well if you have than I'm talking about the overhead chat windows for players. If you haven't than I'm referring to chat windows above players heads, showing who is specifically speaking, it's alot easier to communicate to people close to you.

Highest Ranked MMORPGs
If the first one is Vanguard - then Vanguard IS #1. That's how it works. It may not be #1 forever, but right now - yeah, it is.

Eh, Amazon.com has World of Warcraft, and TBC both rated higher. ( In both ratings and sales)
1 0
Let's assume that the majority of "Vanbois" are going to rank it a 10.
Let's also assume that the majority of the "haters" are going to rank it a 1.
So, 10+1 = 5.5 average score (that's one "vanboi" and one "hater")
10+10+1 = 7 average score
10+10+10+1 = 7.75 average score
10+10+10+10+1 = 8.2 average score
So, you could make the case for a 4 to 1 ratio, but I think it's probably closer to 3 to 1. I say this because there are going to be some "fair" scores that don't give it 1's across the board.
1 0 that made be lol
EDIT: I gave Vanguard a 4.9

The rating on mmorpg.com refers to how many mmo zealot fanatics your game has, not the actual quality or popularity of the game.

EDIT: I gave Vanguard a 4.9 And I gave it a 8.9
when i first beta tested this game i was lagging so bad i couldnt play it so i stopped...but not that a bit has changed this game is becoming more and more fun...but just to let you guys know...although it is the highest rated game there are only a few hundred or so that rated this...and a few thousand rated the other games....BUT lets hope vanguard stays on top once it reaches its few thousand rating
