I can not understand why in the world Vanguard is not working for me. Yesterday it worked before this new patch ur update, now it only takes me to a black screen and I cannot do anything. Ctrl Atl Del wont work, cant do alt shift, or alt f4 any clues as to why this is happening?

    I have Panda Anti Virus and I disabled it still nothing I just get a well... black screen. Doing a full scan on Vanguard dont know wut it does but its doing it

    did you turn off ur firewall. Anti-virus and a firewall are diffrent.

    I turned the entire Panda thing off so I dont know if there is anything I have to change in my windows settings? Graphics maybe?

    are you using Xp. if so press start,programs,accessories,system tools, then security center, then turn the firewall off.

    That worked for me.

    Naw dude, its your Pc's protection. for me those virus protectors just cause to many extra problems

    Start > Run > Msconfig





    Check if there is anything out of the ordinary that is listed there and disable it

    Ok i looked under msconfig nothing unusual... how do i do a full system scan however... not familiar with that??

    It's an option on the Launchpad.

    I had the same problem and searched the knowledge base for the answer - here it is:

     

    Go to your program files folder, go to sony folder, go to vanguard folder, go to bin  folder. Inyour bin folder is a folder called "cache" possibly 2 folders cache1 and cache 2. Delete any folder with the name "cache" .

     

    Login and enjoy again!

    As painful as it sounds, might I suggest a reinstallation of the game?  You could contact Vanguard Technical Support, but I'd bet you donuts to dollars that they'd tell you to do that exact same thing.  At least this way you'll be one step ahead of them.

    Im getting an error now when trying to load Power4 Gear on my asus laptop it says c:Program FilesAsus Power4 GeaCFG3.BLC Read Power policy file(POWER_POLICY) error!
