Hi,
Im still confused with Crafting as an Artificer. Ive got lumber and stonemasonry as my harvesting skills and ive gone thru the quest tutorials for completing work at the assembly and refining benches. I have a few recipes and am now faced with a long list of works orders ranging from easy to hard.
Ive taken the easy ones, and im led to believe that they supply the materials but I can add utility materials if I so wish, such as emery.
Ive tried the easy ones but fail to get grade A goods, im now at level 5. These works orders (at Leth Nurae) are carried out on an Artificer Refining table.
What do I do now? Do I take on the moderate ones to try and improve my level or should I only be moving on to moderate works order if I can sustain Grade A results in the easy Orders??
Also.. I took a look at my attributes/skills tabs and they seem to be skewed, i.e my r"reasoning" attribute is much higer. In skills it seems the same, my carpentry has 1 score but another has about 13! Do these even out when I take on works orders that use different skill sets?
Ive picked up a few crafting guide off the net but some of them seem quiter complicated (involving moving points around in your skill bars) but im conscious of the fact that one of my skills is around 13 when another is at ... or do I need not bother about all that until I reach level 10 and get thru the first sets of works orders?
Thanks in advance

I wouldnt move any points until you know what you are doing.
I found I get the best experience by doing moderate tasks .Try to get at least C quality on them
Ok thanks, I will try the moderate tasks tonight.
Just one other point I forgot to mention im my OP:-
When I tried to do a work order (they supplied the wood) upon opening the bench up, I had an option of bringing my own harvested wood to the table for a better product.(there were 2 buttons under the first stage button, one to use supplied material and 1 to use harvested better grade material) How do I bring my own harvested products to satisy a works order??
I know recipes REQUIRE material from your backpack but Works Orders PROVIDE the materials already.
Just have the necessary material in your inventory to begin with, then at the very start of the crafting process when you chosse what to bring to the table (cleaner, water etc) there will be an option to bring the higher quality product. The benefit is that your item will start half way to C grade from the begining, instead of where it normally does if you use the supplied material.
uurrrmmmm I think this is where im confused, as Im led to think that when I have the option to bring extra stuff like water/bandages to the table to fill up the extra slots, it basically opens up my utilities/expendables bag and only gives me to oppurtunity to take stuff from there, and not from my main inventory.
If you harvest waekend wood you can use one of the tables (cant remember name now it on the right when you enter atrificer building in Leth Nurae)
Use this to produce planks to use or Basalt dependign on what you are making, it will cost you a little but if you are lucky while collecting basalt you will get caustic cleaner which is a lot stronger than the weak stuff the crafting guy sells
i have taken lots of orders but am going back no to producing my own wood and basalt to boost my stats to make it easier to reach those elusive A grade items
Just a note
When using wood you want to take bandages and water and with Basalt its Water and solvent (i think its solvent or cleaner)
With you belt make sure you upgrade to 4 slot belt if you can afford it and have Saw, Drill, Knife and Tool Repair item to cover for any eventuality, remember the better quality the tool the better the workmanship, i normally aim to at least Grade C items but have on occasion produced Grade A
All my craft orders are hard and i am failing at an alarming rate so time to boost craft skill
