  Better item. more powerfull in different ways all depending on what it is... but then it's yours forever.

  so by binding the item becomings better?  Are the item stats increased, like AC 7 would become AC 9 ish ?.

  Also, does the previous post state that some items can be lost from a death ?.

  No.  When you bind an item It stays on your character even if you die.  But the tradeoff is you can't sell it.  Personally I wouldn't bind any good items until your at the level cap, that way you can always make a penny after you outlevel your gear.

  No, that other guy was wrong.  The item stays the same.

  agreed i have yet to bind an item... by the time i die i've out lived that gear anyhow.

  Gotya,  if it is soulbound it respawns with you when you die.
