I enjoyed the movie when I was younger, but have never bothered to watch the show. The only reason why I'm interested in this game is because it's the only MMO that I've heard of that isn't based on elves and magic and all that tired crap. So, from what you guys have seen so far, what is this game going to be like? A level-grind -> gear grind or more of a "social-type" MMO with crafting, player cities and "role-playing" of some degree? I haven't been much of a "role-player" since elementary school, but I do think that some creativity is required to make an MMO worth playing. Also, is this game instanced and separated by zones with little dungeons etc. or is it more like a free-roaming world, basically for those of you who have played the two, is it more like World of Warcraft or Star Wars Galaxies? Is it like a "world simulator" or a more restricted, structured (mindless) grind from one objective to the next?

TV Shows > Movie
Richard Dean Anderson > Kurt Russel.
I also agree.
It's also the reason why Stargate is being made into a MMORPG; fan base from TV shows, not the movie.

By man shall his blood be shed
For immunity of God make he the man
Destroy all that which is evil
So that which is good may flourish
And I shall count thee among my favored sheep
And you shall have the protection of all the angels in Heaven."
