What's this Rappelz game?

The screens look really nice, but I'm wondering if it's just another L2 Clone.  Anyone here try it?  Is it worth the download?

    It's an ok game, nothing spectacular. Screenshots always looks nice. I don't think it's worth the download, but hey that's my opinion.

    It is about half clone and half original so to speak. Definitely feels very much like every other Asian F2P game, but it does have a bit of its own mechanics and flavor. It is easily my favorite F2P MMO right now after only a couple of hours..



    Certainly worth checking out if you are bored. Some things are a tad confusing, but the community seems pretty nice so don't be afraid to ask for help.

    Can you tell me if it's point n' click movement only?  Also, how does it compare to GW?  Thanks!

    I believe its only point&click. I haven't really played it enough to give it a definite review, but enough to say that GW is a more polished and better game.

    Definately the best F2P game out there right now, it was fun between the point where I quit WoW:BC and waited for VSoH to release, if I had a problem with paying a subscription I would definately still be playing this game. But I just prefer WASD controls and american style mmo's I guess.

    get out your mills boys because this game is nothing but grinding.  i played it for a while and realized that it is just wayyyyyyy too much of a grind.

    Its not a L2 clone or anything else..

    Its horrible before Epic III release and i sold my WoW : TBC retail box after i tried Rappelz last week. Its more fun in some ways and you face less problem in making parties and ninja looters in dungeon.

    All canceled. Waiting on Warhammer Online : Age of Reckoning.

    Rappelz is the best F2P game out and imo its even better than some of the P2P games that are around these days. It has some great features:

    - Job level and Character level. You dont feel the grind because you are occupied with getting job points up.

    - Balance in all classes. All classes do as they should and there is no ALL MIGHTY class like we tend to see in so many games.

    - Large community. The servers keep filling up more and more and they are even bringing out a new server at the end of this week.

    - Good fun. Iv played many MMORPGS but Rappelz is the one that keeps dragging me back at the moment. I dont find it grindy at all, i dont feel as if its a job to play, the leveling is a nice speed and the game itself is well made.

    I really enjoy Rappelz and i highly recommend it to anyone who hasnt played it yet, its free and very enjoyable.

    I can't remember if I ever tried this game before, if I did it was before Epic III. I redownloaded it recently but the whole sframe.exe hassle was a pain, once I added it to the list in windows so Rappelz would work, it made my firewall freak out every 5 seconds saying it's trying to modify programs and connect to the internet and stuff. x_x
