Neocron 2 announces a new payment method via PayPal. It seems like we'll have to wait until the service is activated to find out more.
By the middle of next week another payment method for credit card users will be available via PayPal. More details will follow when the service has been activated.

I have been interested in trying this game. Is it so hard to pay that one would need to go through Paypal?
There are other payment methods too like Pay by cash but I'm not well versed in the alternatives to really advise.
Check out the game anyway.
This game was awesome and originally used to be payed via paypal, it was click to pay what killed it for a lot of people and dwindled the population.
When Neocron 1 was live the game was vibrant with a large population and was some of the best mmo fun Ive ever had and is still one of the most original mmo's Ive played.
I feel there decision to go back to paypal is good one but its too late to save what I consider the best mmo I've played.
herb...herb is a plant
Glad to hear that KK (Reakktor) is moving to Paypal for payment on this game. There are MANY sordid issues with Click2Pay and the details can be found on NC's forums.
As to the game itself I played from the NA Launch for 2 solid years. Probably 8-10 hours a day. Never have I been so immersed in a game before or since. The graphics are a little old, low poly count for most objects, and I'm sure there are still some bugs here and there, but what MMO doesn't ever get patched?
This is the first game that sucked my soul dry and left me wanting more. I'd love to see the populations rise to where they were 4 years ago, when outpost battles were HUGE. One of the best times ever had was a City faction storming of the Twilight Guardian HQ. Close to 200 people, on foot, in tanks, bikes, and troop carriers rushed in and laid waste to everything that moved.
Now they are going to Paypal... I will return.
This is so typical of poorly funded MMO's. They pinch pennies and end up annoying the playbase to the point of leaving.
People have learned in this genre, that once abused, do not give them a second chance, it will occur again.
