I need a new mmorpg/mmo(Shooter?)

Hey guys, I'm looking for a decent MMORPG or MMO thats a shooter, that Americans Army looked good but I don't want to wait 7+ hours for a game to download without even knowing if it's going to be worth playing.
Some Games I've played:
Astonia III
Diablo II
Mu Online
Ragnarok Online
Lineage II
SilkRoad
Second Life (God don't remind me I played that)
Asherons Call
RF Online (It lags to much, such a good game it looked like though)
Games I won't Play:
Maplestory
Runescape
Games I'm currently Playing:
GunZ(It's the best)
Well theres some information about what I like to play, anyone have a game suggestion? Please don't post games like WoW Where you get a trial but the game is limited so much in the trial you have to buy it, and I really don't want to buy a game without playing it for 7+ Days understanding what most of the game is about.

Yeah I'd say Planetside too, it's fun if you play it casually.

try Planetside, although you might have some probs getting around
initialy (go through tutorials) but once u go into action, its very
straight forward or its very complex (depends on how you play). Make
sure you dont fight against overwhelming odds, some people get
discouraged by constant dying, but some (like I do) like a good
challenge fighting larger numbers.
Planetside can be very simple (usualy referring to zerg-fest) or very
complex (tactical platoon action can be very much as complex as in
rainbow 6)
The only drawback from playing Planetside for free is limit in your
Battlerank, which means you arent as flexible as others, meaning you
dont have as large of an arsenal of different types of
weapons/vehicles. And you cant use few things like 2 or 3 weapons and
BFRs. Those weapons u cant use are NOT common weapons so no big loss
there. BFRs arent very effective either (they've been struck by the
almighty nerf too many times).
Generaly speaking, from level 1 u r AS GOOD AS ANY OTHER PERSON playing
Planetside. Dont let any hateboys tell you about zergfest, about
getting killed all the time without making a kill...they are noobs who
dont know how to handle their weapons/vehicles and who dont know what
COF means or how to work with it. You are as good as you make yourself
to be. Your personal skills determin how good (or bad) you are. So if
you suck, dont expect easy kills, expect easy deaths.

PS: if u like a challenge, make NC char on Emerald, they have the toughest time there.

Neocron is the only MMORPG shooter that exists of any note.
Planetside and WW2 online are MMOFPS games.
Which you would like more I dunno but there is a real diffence between an MMOFPS and an MMORPG shooter.
Im playing it for over 3 years now..and im still enjoying it every time i play.
So if your able to download 2.7 go and get its....one of the best free mmo shooters there is.
Face of mankind is also a twitch style FPSMMO.

Dev's are working on the second "milestone" patch which will improve the game vastly.
I'll be honest and say that the main drawbacks of the game are :
1. Quite low population, although at peak times there are some damn good fights
2. Not enough to do. Basically this game is based around pvp, if you aren't pvping, there isn't much to do.
Once you get into this game it has so many possibilities, you make it what you want.
P.S, there is no free trial but its only around £7 for a month. free to get the actual game too.
