I´ve played AC2 trial , and it had pretty good content. Not very much grinding. I also played SWG for a few months and I quickly got boored with the grindning there. So far L2 (OB) has been a real disappointment, as its too much grinding. So what games have good content (varied and exiting quests, well done PvP and so on)? Anarchy Online has pretty good rating here, what about its content?

i think there really isn't much out right now. but i would say check out Ulitma online pvp is great and the lvl gind well there really isn't 1 lol. also u could try AC1 crappy graphics again but nice pvp system. i'm just waiting for WoW,Dragons Empire and Guild Wars
Blah blah blah......
Well obvioulsy the oldest gamers will have the best content, since they have been adding stuff for years: UO, EQ and AC. AO has alot of content too, but it never feels right to me.

People say I'm weird for being a proud Nerd. I say people are weird for being proudly normal. FREAKS!
In my opinion: AO, but then again the expansion has some pretty tedious missions (at very high lvls). Let me list you some pros and cons of AO:
pros:
1. Free trial
2. Decent graphics
3. Nice Early Game gameplay: The combat itself is very good and character creation is varied (which is a very decisive factor for me). If you plan on staying on thje surface of Rubi-Ka (which is pretty much pointless, since all of the best stuff is in Jobe / shadowlands anyway) you might find some of the missions to gain new items interesting (along with the sewer which is one of the best dungeons)
4. Great partying and inter-player communication: Channels for factions etc. are readily available
5. Tolerable grind: At least the grind to lvl 50 is a breeze (I got to some lvl >= 50 in free trial period, used good solo character though (shade))
6. Is the price still 10 bucks? Considering caliber of game that's reasonable (if it is indeed 10 bucks).
Cons:
1. Missions can be very cumbersome
2. The grind supposedly starts at the 100s or so (no rpg ever captivated me long enough to make me attain a ridiculous grinding lvl)
3. Not many players on, nor will there be after the new ones are released.
4. Storyline is weak (not the story the game is based on, but the implementation of it etc although still better than the other crap out there)
5. Shadowlands world isn't that big (and rubika is almost pointless now with superior exp and items in shadowlands, although rubika is big in comparison, still isn't that huge compared to EQ or others ... at least it seems so)
6. Area partitioning loading (enter new area => load time)
Just some of my input, try the free trial and find out for yourself

This is a sequence of characters intended to produce some profound mental effect, but it has failed.
FFXI have tons of quests and good graphic, bad lvl grind and forced to team tho.
AO doesn't follow any storyline at all, imo I wouldn't say it's any content, except leveling up and get items (if you are a RPer you can maybe find more player made content tho) but AO have easy leveling and can solo alot at lower lvl if you want, very good character customization and lower lvl game play can be alot of fun.
UO is probably the game with most content, best char customization and you can do almost anything in it, but with bad graphic...

Newer games tend to have less content siimply because things get added as the game matures.
So thats why you would find EQ with much more content then most new games. If you played EQ at launch you would notice that the content has grown about 5 folds.
So really if you wanna play a game for content you have to look for the mature games.I would say try EQ or DAoC but if you thought EQ graphics was too poor then DAoC would be same for you.
So you might have to try a newer game but it would (atm) have less content then most of this other games.
AO is worth testing for new players for sure, but make sure to read guides and forums before you start so you understand the game, it's pretty hard to learn.
FC's official forums are the only forums you need for the game, ask questions there if needed and people will most likely help you, but use the search option if you can first ofcourse:)

AO is a good game still suffer's from the mission grind a bit but with shadowlands and the next addon on its way there is plenty to do.
If your looking for pvp and content though i personally think(even though i could not get into it much) DAOC is the grand daddy at the min.
