Yet another reason FOR rs.

Something that has yet to be mentioned here amongst all the mudslinging. Us mac-users are constantly being reminded that we don't own a pc. There is an extreme shortage of CHEAP mmorpgs that provide programming compatible with macintosh. Runescape happened to be the first game I came across, but I'm still open to trying new ones. I found this mmorpg site during some of my websurfing, and looking at the game list only proves my point. If anyone reads this and knows of mac-friendly mmorpgs, please post a link on this thread! Meanwhile, I still enjoy playing the game, even if it is kind of lame. Both sides of the argument for and against RS are completely valid, but always remember that there is no game that exists that is without its flaws.

No, I've never heard of that. I'll have to look it up, however. I used to have an application for my computer called "virtual pc", but It was really pokey and slow. Is bootcamp better? How does it work, exactly?

In the PowerPC era, Virtual PC was the only way to run Windows on a Mac, but since Macs used PowerPCs and PCs used Intels (a tad ironic, if you ask me), Virtual PC had to emulate an Intel, which slowed things down quite a bit. Now, since Apple has switched to Intel processors, the need to emulate an Intel processor has vanished. Boot Camp, a free beta, sets up your Mac as a dual-boot system with Windows XP, running exactly like a regular PC. The downside is, though, you still need to purchase a copy of Windows. If you don't have the cash to shell out for it, consider Darwine. It allows you to run Windows without purchasing a copy.
