Should i Buy it

in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes
Um i was just wondering is this game worth buying. i really cant afford to waste alot of money on it if it is crap... so any comments about the game would be great!

    if you have a high end pc......nah, i still wouldn't buy it.  at it's core it's a good game, but it is so unstable and buggy that i couldn't, with a clear conscience,  recommend it to anyone.

    Read reviews if you want but don't make up your mind because of them. Try to get a buddy key from someone or pay $15,- for one month and then make up your mind.

    Look man, I'm not gonna hit ya with any biased bullcrap, so let me say this. Do some research, go to their website and read about the game features, look at screenshots, etc. If you are still interested at this point, try a free trial, and test drive it yourself. Then if you are still interested, then you have answered your own question. Don't let someone else's opinion steer you in either direction, its a tug-o-war between all the games out there, with everyone thumping their respective game boxes, and spouting their respective propaganda. Like any decision made in life, inform yourself of the facts, then make your own choice. Don't be a sheep, be an individual.

    There isn't a free trial yet. But maybe people have some spare buddykeys left. Try and ask around on the boards. People do get lucky :)

    I really want to like this game, but.....

    It's very buggy right now. I picked it up 2 days after it came out  and have had nothing but problems. My biggest problem has been my view of the Vanguard world going black. I have not been able to string together an hour without this happening. I have also had enemies go invisible on me in the middle of battle. But maybe the worst problem I've had concerns the ability to bind yourself to a chosen healing alter, so that when you rez you can rez where you want. I did this, went exploring the upper level areas, died(as i expected) and my lvl 7 paladin rezzed in a lvl 23-25 area. Shes forever lost  :(

    All this might not be so bad if ANYONE at SoE would answer ANY of my petitions...alas they do not.

    I'm gonna put this game away for awhile, however, i'll come back to it. It seems like a good game.

    Think I'll try Dreamlords next, comes out in 2 days.....lol, i'll never learn.

    I looked it up for ya, and well it seems that there is no free trial at the moment, probably due to the fact that the game just released. They should have one up on their site soon I imagine. I say be patient and wait for a free trial (shouldnt be too long, within the month most likely), and also to see how the game fares. I really don't recommend buying an MMO when its freshly released anyways, cause usually there are a lot of bugs to work out and features to tweak. I usually give it a month or two. Now before I get flamed, I know absolutely nothing about this game except for whatever previews I've read and screenshots I've seen, so I am not making an assumption about Vanguard, I was just stating a common occurence in this genre.

    That is because SOE is just publishing this one. Full control of the game other than billing/marketing is in Sigil's hands. Thats who you need to petition.

    Sorry, my mistake. However it was an ingame petition. I will asume that to be the correct course of action. I had sent many over the course of  4 days. None of them were rude and none of the were answered.

    I have had the game for 4 days now and only 1 clint crash and there is no lag if u just adjust your settings .If u aint got a uber pc dont play it on a high setting  and then say ooo the game is lagging  and theres all the bugs. Yes there are some bugs  but all game in the begging have had some kind of bugs . The games only been out for  a week,  give it a try its  alot of fun hope u get a buddy pass
