Vista Compatible?

Greetings and well-met fellow gamers!



Hey do any of you out there have Vista yet?  I am supposed to get a free upgrade to Vista, but a bit leery at this time to install it on my computer.  Any official word or is there an archived bit of info from official sources that address the compatibility of Vanguard with Vista?

    Try asking in the official vanguard forums. Oh wait... They don't have any official forums. Ooops!

    The many fansite are offical. Mmorpg.com isnt one of those tho. Vagnuard was gonna be a vista only release when they worked with microsoft so i would guess yes it would.

    Affiliates are considered official vanguard forums.



    Also, there is a tech support board, but i would favor the Affilates over it.

    Works fine here with Vista Ultimate.

    Just get the current Graphics Card drivers and you should be ok.

    If you have 2 HD's in your comp you can always Dual Boot. I do but find find myself going back to WinXP less and less.

    This isn't official?  Bah what am I doing hanging out with the riff raff here  

    I just checked and there are like 40 affiliate or official sites.  And MMORPG isn't one of them?  Total slackers...

    And while I'm on the subject, I remember during launch I read that Caster's Realm was an affilitate; but I did not see Allakhazam's.  Wonder why...

    Luckily, i don't need you to like me to enjoy video games. -nariusseldon.

    It runs fine here on Vista Ultimate, but my first attempt to run it resulted in an error stating that d3dx9_31.dll was missing.  If you get that, just download the latest DirectX 9 from MS and that will fix it.

    Besides Nvidia drivers, which 100.64 Beta was released today and I have not had a chance to try them out yet, I am not havening any real problems with Vista. The UAC is pain but I got over that quick.
