LOL..guess the recent scandal has Eve people furiously dragging down their ratings in retaliation.....
Unfortunately, high ratings don't translate into "lots'" of subscribers....
and WAR will be the final nail in DAOC's numbers..... enjoy it guys....this will be the last of the good years....

Nothing positive to say? About what? DAOC? I've been an avid cheerleader for the game as most of my previous posts will reflect. (well, not for TOA, but I'm hardly alone in my distaste for that expansion)
I still have an account that I sometimes play but currently am focusing more of my attention on Vanguard. As to my thoughts about ratings vs subcription numbers, just stating the facts.... DAOC's numbers continue to decline (I know, because I play the game) and since most DAOC players I've met have all said they plan to give WAR a try my prediction of DAOC's lower numbers is hardly a negative comment... just the reality of the situation.,
I'm sad to see its passing, but everything ends, even online games.... making way for new experiences....
Besides... this thread was supposed to be about EvE....

Since it is here on a DAoC board -- you cant fault her for addressing DAoC here....
Well, I'v seen a renewed interest in DAoC the last weeks, atleast at this website. If you visited this forum a couple of moths ago there were days between postings.
I haven't got a clue why, but perhaps the WoW people are trying DAoC out or something?
I agree..... look how long UO has gone on, it doesnt cost much to keep these games going...so no reason for them to ever really die as long as they have decent subs.
As to recent upticks in postings here..... many people have said they've tired of other games and are coming back for another go at DAOC..especially with the lack of new games out there (I know thats why I came back0
I didnt care whether someone posted about Eve ....or DAOC.... but I always do try to stay on topic with an OP's original thought...
So...with that in mind... I've heard that most of the Eve community is planning on invading loc sec space and wiping the guild BOB right out of the quandrant... sounds like pretty big fun..... wish we could do the same to those scum-sucking Albs in DAOC....be great if we were permitted like one weekend a month to invade each other's home capitols..and see who could hold them the longest....
