Beta Preference?

in Lord of the Rings Online
I've been following this game for a little while, and have signed up for the beta.



May i be frank and ernest? I REALLY NEED to play this game. I am soooo dying to become one of the beta testers...but still my inbox is bare of invites.



Is there ANY way to get myself a beta position preference apart from signing up and waiting for release?



Its sooooooo beautiful out there. I want to be in it...but the gates are locked!



Any advice?

    Currently: Playing EVE Online
    Previous: FFXI, Dragonrealms, sad little stint in WOWland.
    Awaiting: Fallen Earth, Hero''s Journey, Tabula Rasa, Age of Conan.

    Pre order is your friend. You will get the chance of lower subs too should you like the game which has to be a good thing

    I had a look at the preorder process on the lordoftheringsonline.com website...



    I am resident in the uk, so I wonder if it is still applicable.



    Oddly enough I had a look at the quote on what bonuses you get if you preorder and i noticed that it said:

    With your pre-order, you will become a Founder which will guarantee you a slot in the upcoming Open Beta for LOTRO. Not only do Founders get a reserved space in the Open Beta, you also get in first! You can start playing on March 30th, 2007*. Anyone who is not a Founder must wait to play until April 6th*
    The open beta bonus is only a week! March 30th to April 6th?!??!?!   Seven days! its hardly worth the effort. I mean...yeah, I really REALLY want to play the game...but seven days. I have a job too you know!



    Ah well...roll on April.

    Ah well...roll on April. Yes, but as a founder you also get to keep your Open Beta character and roll him/her over to the finished version. There WILL be a level cap in open beta so you won't get really far ahead.
