General: Corum Online Closed Beta Ends

Corum Online closed Beta comes to an end January 26th.

The Corum Online Closed Beta is coming to an end this Friday on January
26, 2007 at 5:00PM PST. At this time, all character data will be wiped
from the server. The Game Server will be down until February 15, 2007
at 5:00PM, when the official launch is set to begin. Corum Online will
remain Free to Play like all the other GPotato published games with an
Item Shop available where users can purchase certain functionally or
cosmetic items for the game using the universal microcurrency, GPotato.
Further wipes in the future are not expected and at the launch on
February 15, the GPotato Item Shop is expected to be activated. More
information will be available at the official Corum Online website at
http://corum.gpotato.com where many beta testers can be found at the forums. All users with a GPotato ID are free to join in the discussions
about the game at the website!

We would like to thank all those that have participated in the Beta
test. Many issues and bugs have been found during the course of the
beta and we plan to have them all fixed and patched by the projected
launch date. We would also like to thank our partner, FileFront for the
great promotion provided putting Corum Online only behind the World of
Warcraft patches for the most popular files during the 2-week duration
of the Closed Beta!

Anyone like or dislike this game?

Is it different enough from most Korean games to try?

Is it actually fun instead of feeling like work?

I played the Closed Beta for Corum Online and I really enjoyed playing the game. The dungeon siege system that they have is a lot of fun. I also like the fact that there are lots of options regarding your character's skills and looks. The Open Beta for Corum Online starts on February 15, 2007 at 5PM PST (GMT -8) . I really look forward to playing the game again especially because now I know what I am doing. Plus, Gala-Net is giving away 20 wireless keyboards and mice to 20 randomly selected players level 20 or higher. I was able to reach level 20 in one day's worth of play. Anyways, thanks for your time and have a great day!!
