will buying the expansion enhance the look of the game

ive tried the free trial and though the game may be a good one i just cant get round the dated graphics, will buying the expansion give the graphics a much needed make over that is needed for me to commit to playing this game, i cant help it, im a graphics whore lol.

    Did you update the graphics?  Look at the sticky up top for how to update the graphics while still using the trial.  If you are doing that already, then check your settings to make sure you are using the catacombs models and not "classic."  If you are doing both of those then you are seeing what the game looks like unless you are screwing up.  While not the best graphics the graphics are not out of date.  The character movements are not as fluid as recent games but that is about it when it comes to graphics.



    Or, if you by the box set you will have the updated graphics (or just download the expansions).

    yeah the graphics will improve some if you upgrade all the way to Darkness Rising (I don't know about LOM).....SI and TOA graphics look terrible in our day and age I agree.

    Labyrinth of the Minotaur uses the same files as darkness rising. When I got into beta it copied most of the lab files from the DR directory. I think most of the updates they have done graphically have been for Catacombs or better so it makes sense that they all three have the same graphics.

    Just a word of advice you might not want to run in RVR with all your graphics on because the lag can kill you. But the graphics in LOTM is very good.
