I'm curious how stable and smooth the gameplay is in this game? How many bugs are there? And how much fun is it to actually play?
Any information would be helpful. However, if you haven't played it for 1 moment, please don't come on here and lie saying that you have and giving some bogus opinion of what this game is like.
Thank You

Thanks guys.
Yeh, I'm starting to think that my gaming money would be a lot better spent by pre-ordering Lord of The Rings Online.
So many choices, so few quality gems hidden among all those choices today.

I picked up the game and have really really liked what they have done. I posted this in another thread, but ill post it here too.
I havent run into any bugs so far.... only downside is the web part can take a few seconds to load up (but its not a big problem, its all management on that side anyway, no real rush).
The game is very very nice... its much different than anything out there now.
Its RTS / turn based strategy / mmo ....mixed into one, and they did it well (i really didnt think it was possible before).
On the web part, they give the turned base strategy and civ building (make cities, explore, resource management, crafting, army management, forums, trade, tech tree management....and all kinds of other things) ... that alone is pretty nice, and more detailed then any other strategy game i have played (way more advanced then CIV or empire X line of strategy games, you can customize your troops with equipment! I have never seen a strat game do that).
And then, you have the RTS part of the game.... decent rts graphics and gameplay. Pretty standard stuff, quests and encounters are played there. Alone, the RTS wouldnt be much...but combined with its other half (the web part), its something really really new to strategy games.
Finally they got the pvp in the game. I was thinking "its going to be deathmatch zerg fest"... but they actually pulled off a nice system for pvp. Its all about capturing and holding key points on the map ...way more strategy then a lot of other games (they also combined the pvp / pve / RTS and all the other elements together to work with eachother...not just different mini games within eachother).
Yea, this game is a pretty fresh take on strategy genre. Basically...if you are a fan of strat games, you need to pick this one up, its a lot better then anything else out right now.
I played it since alpha. Great concept, decent balance, but gameplay was lacking and stopped improving between alpha and closed beta.
The exploiting issues reported but never fixed are what is really going to kill this game though. Yes, I was one of the bitter people on the official forums. Reporting various issues repeatedly and NEVER getting an official response nor a fix will do that to you.
Are you sure the exploits are still there? Most game companies don't issue direct responses to queries regarding exploits, since they don't want to confirm their existence. It's a matter of policy for almost all of them to say nothing until they're actually fixed.
I'm not disputing what you're saying. I've known more than a few companies to never fix stuff like this, after all, but I'm curious as to how long you saw these issues unresolved. Nobody cares much in a MMORPG, but in an online skill-based game, major cheat issues are a fast track to death.
