Hey I was wondering something. I know in AoC for the first 20 levels are all single player mode, but what I wanted to know is that after the first 20 levels then you get to go into the mm part of the game , will that part of the game be level based also or will it be skilled based kind of like SWG was at first where you had skill points to use where ever you would like and no one knew what you had or what you were because there were no levels over your head. I'm just asking because I don't know, all I know is that I wanna play this game real bad ! Thanks

Ya, that's pretty much what I'm waiting for. I liked swg classic, since it had no levels at all, combat depended on skill choice. Of course there were cookie cutter builds, but I liked the choice. I just hope AoC doesnt sneak in some sort of stats to each level, like higher health and all that per a level.

AoC is using class-level-skills-feats system.
It seems like that AoC is going to similar system like in WoW. Prestige classes are similar with crafting classes. There might have more feats in AoC than WoW.

Not really, in fact, not at all.
In WOW, your characters path is predetermined, here it is not.
In WOW, attributes are chosen for you at every level, here they are not
In WOW, the only choice you have in terms of skills is how soon or late you cough up the dough for the next skill in your predetermined path. Here, not only is no cash involved, but you have (gasp) real choices to make, since you cannot under any circumstances have all of everything your class choice has to offer.
Oh, and yes, WOW does have the feat tree, which is somewhat similar, only extremely dumbed down, and is a very insignificant part of the development itself.
Oh, and tradeskill levels are not gained by grinding out useless items no one in their right minds would buy over and over again. From a crafter's perspective, that alone would be enough of a difference.
If you're going to make comparisons on who had a system like this, you might as well start with the games that actually introduced the level/skill hybrid systems, not to mention did it right.
