SO basically, every jobs' ultimate weapon. They are very similar to Relic Weapon previously found in Dynamis, except that those were only good and effective in dynamis. Those new ones are effective everywhere, and my guess is that they can be obtained in the new Dynamis Areas.

There is also new Garrison equipment. I'm assuming that you probably get these from completing the Garrison event. To briefly explain Garrison, to the best of my knowledge, you must first get an item that drops from Orcs, Yagudo, or Quadav and then trade it to the guy at the/an outpost. He/she will then say something about the beastmen coming to raid the outpost/region and that your help is needed. I'm assuming you're supposed to fight waves of beastmen, but the only accounts I've heard were of people who tried it, didn't know there was a level 20 cap (at least, level 20 in the newbie region) got capped to 20, and didn't have any equipment and got killed right away. Anyway, here:

This really isn't bad equipment at all. In fact, I think it's pretty good.

There are also new items that increase your skill in certain crafts. You first have to be contracted in that craft. You can only be contracted to one craft. You then must gain guild points by crafting certain things and trading them to the guild master. I think you can only do this once per Vana'diel day. I'll have to find out. Anyway, you accumulate points this way and once you get enough points you can get the equipment. I found some of it:

    They've been extremely hush hush about what will be in their next expansion. I don't know how they'd do it, since it's a very ancient race, but I could possibly see them adding the Zilart as a playable race.

    Wow Samusic where do you find this stuff? It's awesome but to bad I won't be high enough level to use most of that stuff for a long time. But it is still cool to know about it.

    Actually, there are a ton of cool latent effect rings and earrings that are level 30. There's also the level 20ish Garrison equipment, and it's pretty good. The crafting clothes, of course, are level one.

    If theres any chance, expansion would be it. A rumored new class is Blue Mage, that's all I know... but that's just a rumor so dont take it to heart.

    i already read about this on the ign boards but nice organizing it into one thread

    excalibur looks nice with knights of the round as a weapon skill will deff make more ppl go paladin
