Trial account creation help

Hi all,

I've downloaded the Ultima Gold client, got my 14-day trial code, and am all set to play. Problem is that I can't seem to create a trial account. I've tried editing an account like the confirmation email said, I've tried creating a new account, all to no avail.

The only place I can see to enter a trial code is in a 'upgrade code' text box that appears in the account editing section, but I keep getting the response that my trial is not a valid code.

I know I'm probably missing something ridiculously obvious, but any help would be appreciated.

     Hi there,  i will try to make a trial acct and see if i can see where your hitch is occuring. I'll post back  if i can find an answer  for you in the mean time  or before now i hope you have found a way in :)

    You need to open a  EA member account account.



    That will be then your account name and password.

    You also need a creditcard for the trial or you have to phone them so they activate your account without credit card.



    you went to www.uo.com - there to account management  - new acount?

    there to 'New to ea' - create new member account - fill in what they want then.



    You cannot open a trial with an old existing account .

    Thanks for the replies everyone. I'll go and try to open an EA member account and see how I go

    Edit: Stil no luck. In the account management section I try to enter the trial code in the 'Enter product reg code' field, but I keep getting the message that the code is unavailable. I've tried about 5 different codes, but nothing works

    Sounds like you got a bad key then.  There are key generators, so the key you got has probably already been used.

    You can call EA for a trial account.  Just tell them the key did not work and they will give you a new one.  Also ask them to activate your trial account, that way you won't have to give them your credit card for just trying this crappy game.

    Don't give EA your credit card number. They have been known to withdraw money and refuse to pay back. Besides, UO is a waste of time, anyway.
