First Impression (For those with older systems)

Hello everybody, I just wanted to pop on here and give you my initial impression of this game.  I have been watching it for a bit now and I've stayed pretty interested in it, but I wasn't sure how it would run on my current pc (Current specs doesn't even meet minimum requirements: Intel P4 2ghz, 1gb  of DDR 400 RAM, GeForce 6800 512mb video..  I came across a buddy key from a friend downloaded it and updated it last night and was able to get my first glimpse of it.

Just seeing the world without taking my first step after character creation was jaw dropping.  I have been reading lots of reviews here saying the graphics in this game aren't good and such, but I can not even begin to tell you how wrong they are.  I was running on balanced and I was amazed.  First thing I did was take a screen shot to send to another friend of mine that has been debating this game as well because of system specs.

I figured because it looked so nice that my framerate would be terrible so I started to wander around a bit, and yes, while it was a little choppy (on a machine below requirements) it was very far from un-playable.  I toyed with graphic settings this morning and while I do agree the graphics are nothing to brag about when you adjust for highest performance, the game still looked nice and ran fine on my computer.

I have only reached level 4, so I am not far into the game, but I have ran into a couple bugs thus far that players have already posted about here and there is no need for me to go over them again.  All and all I am very impressed with this game I think I will be joining it by the end of the month.  So for everybody out there that is debating how your machine will do with it I just wanted to add a bit of positive feedback from somebody without a high end system.

I am not sure if it is only credit card payments only.  I am just testing it on the buddy trial for now so I haven't looked into payment types yet.  I would be pretty surprised if its the only form of payment sony takes though.
