How am I supposed to get a buddy key now?

in Vanguard: Saga of Heroes
Can anyone please direct me to a forum where stupid mods don't interfere with buddy key trades?  I REALLY wanna try this game but the mod that posted that one thread in here crushed my hopes.

    I hear a lot of trash talk about this game, but EverQuest was my favorite MMO and they say this is better...
