What do you all think is going to be the most played class in AoC.

    Probbably going to be a close race between Barbarian, Lich, Herald of Xotli, and Guardian

    They have some interesting classes, but i think i will be playing a herald of xotli

    turning into a demon and summoning demonic powers sounds cool

    so i think that assassin and herald of xotli will be the most played

    although herald of xotli (the name) might scare off people who dont know what it is

    I agree as well. In my opinion, most people will start out with barbarians and take it from there. Once more information about each class is revealed, we'll know the Least played class as well hehehe. My guess is the healers for least ^_^

    I agree healers are usaully least played but most vitale in the economy. Although the demonic player sounds like it will be fun to play i would have to go with assasin prob be the top pick, as we all know they best at pvp ... just look at eq 2 pvp all assasins who are twinked.

    Now I know that you did NOT just compare AoC's PvP to EQ2's.    Anyways, I think Barb will take it, lot of ppl will want to "be" Conan, plus they have a crazy long list of possible skills.  Ranger, and Herold will fight for 2nd.

    Barbarian most likely. I dont like magic classes so Ill be a strait forward Barb all the way.

    Most played class i would assume is going to be ranger due to the terrain and how you can use it, with this MMO not having a terrain exploit rule. But i think healers are going to play a major part in this game and will be needed badly for the many PvE quests. And your PvP in battlegrounds is seriouly gonna need that healer that can also tank if need be, but from what ive read on the character class most of the secondary tanks have some sorta healing DoT.

    Well, since the game is called Age of Conan I'm guessing Barbarian will probably be most popular, though Ranger may be a close second.

    I don't know about the ranger, anyone at all has the potential to pick up a bow or at least a crossbow and use the terrain to their advantage regardless of their class. They won't have access to the specials the rangers do, but still.

    well  all of you saying that healers will be the least played class may be right, but look at how FC is making their healers    they are casters as well and how the healing will work it wont be a boring  "sit back and heals the tanks.. ohh crap a cit heals  guys their on me their on me  noooo.."  the healers will be able to fight and take combat well wihch is one of the reason healers might not be the least played class, however i am just saying what i know  thei could change and make all the healers relaly bad at combat...they still have like nine months till release
