When WoW came out for the first time it was the best thing ever and you couldent stop playing it and it was extra addicting. i played from the second day it came out to about 5 days after BC came out. when i first got BC is seemed really awsome and a whole new great thing to WoW. but after i hit lvl 64 i realized that its just not WoW. The out lands looks like some crazy invention a maniac made up. the out lands is so over done its not even funny. . . huge glowing mushrooms and and the whole place is floating in space with galaxies and other planets in the air. The new inctances got boring after the first time you went through it and the quests were very repedative. in my opinion BC changed WoW completely and its just not the same WoW any more. any one else think this way too?

I do agree the look of the game is more alien than fantasy.
The main real change that I see to the game are that there are now routes to hi end gear that don't involve raiding, levelling the playing feild between raiders and non-raiders quite a bit. I hope that blizzard has the sense not to completely destroy this new balance they've created when they roll out the new end game raids. The way that they have handled epic flying mounts has me mildly optimistic. The one that you can get through arena play look waaay cooler than the regular one, but you can get one that works almost as well just by saving up for it.
I don't want to write this, and you don't want to read it. But now it's too late for both of us.
"I'm on fire!"
Yeh.... wth is with the aliens -_O

And I don't want to hear anything about "I don't believe in vampires" because *I* don't believe in vampires, but I believe in my own two eyes, and what *I* saw is ******* vampires! "
Desperately trying to drag myself to a level high enough to enter Outlands by myself even though I'm extremely bored with the game right now but I was summoned there and showed around and I really love the new fantastic alien feel. Every MMO has the boring old medieval castles and woods etc at least they're straying away from the pack. I liked the giant mushroom zone with the bluish glow everywhere (whatever it's called) and nagrand (even though reminds me of the bloody Barrens alot its still damn gorgeous) I appreciate the work they put in to create great atmosphere to the zones, Blizzard seem really good at that where as other MMO don't do as well.
I've got the same problem as the TS has, i reached 64 and got TERRIBLY bored.
The quests are boring, giving rediculous amounts of XP, also the mobs give just stupid amounts of XP.
This "move" that Blizzard made kinda ruined the game for me (and more then just me) It's become a race to get from 60 to 70 the fastest, get the keys needed to raid.
Maybe some of you remember that guy from the french realm using lameass way to get from lvl 60 to 70 in less then 28 hours. (Some call it being smart)
And yes the world design got kinda stupid to me also, for numerous reasons. I was rather enjoying the raiding at lvl 60 then i'm enjoying the quest grind now.
I love these posts...and see them all too often.
So, you played the game non-stop for the past 2 years and you are getting bored with it? That's normal, and nothing they do to the game is going to rekindle that original fascination you had with it. Game over, move on.
I personally love the new zones, they are wild and imaginative. Keep in mind, the Outlands is supposed to be trippy.

They have to give it something different.
Groovy.
yeah, because Fantasy does not have a whole legacy of inter-dimensional travels going to really weird places?
please, give it a rest. This is fantasy, not sci-fi. Check the planes of everquest? the whole planescape setting for D&D? almost any fantasy genre has its own dimensional planes where the Gods or other entities live...
"If you give a man a fish, you feed him for a day, if you teach him how to fish, you feed him for a lifetime"
and why outland may seem so aci-fi is because its been torn apart by magic, also keeping itself together by magic and the twisting nether, they also make weaponry baside on naaru technology (naaru is a godlike race)
LOL so they changed it to a point where it might be better huh?? That much of a change might be bad of good
I thought the quests had moderatly improved.
There were a lot fun ones, not just the usual kill/farm/deliver / pvp quests.
The bombing runs. The dragon rides. Shutting down the reactors, capturing grilloks eye. keepiong the pigs alive long enough to hunt up some truffles for you. The Circle of Blood pitfights.
Lots of summonings and getting to take over other bodies, possess that mage, drive the Fel Reaver and kill 200 golems in 5 minutes...drive the remote control scorpian under the lava, the gnomish mech.
Or best of all, become a marmot, sneak around the ogre camp as a wombat.
Such as shame I have finished them all now.
Or any of the low end epics.
What BC has done for me. Well lets say gps will never be a problem for me. I average 200 gps a day in BC. Yesterday I spent 100 gps and still ended up with 150 gps more than what i had. Elitests cannot compete with BC. WOW has developed a way to make farmers pretty much useless. BC is quite fun. For me I was not happy originally when I found green items that were better than my TIII BWL items. But I dealt with it and now think BC is the best expansion of content I have seen in any mmorpg in a long time.
If you sold gps or farmed items to sell online you are outta luck. No single WOW player with BC gives a damn about your items anymore. Guess its time for those farmers to find a new game. As to me, I like BC alot and will continue to play WOW.
By the way, bought vanguard. That game is total crap :-D Even the graphics for the required specs is crap! I dont recommend it to anyone !
