Customization options?

I really like Granado. Love the graphics, the setting, and the skills. The only things that I wonder about are the customization options available to characters. I'm hoping it's because we're in beta.

I mean, we will get options to change our characters looks right? I love the graphics, but there has to be more than one hairstyle per class per gender, right?

My musketeer looks incredible.....so does every single other one that i've seen, cause we all look the same. I've seen people with different hats and clothing, but that doesn't equal at least a selection of faces and hair per class/gender. Kind of takes me out of the game.

Like I said, hoping this is because of beta. Is it different in the foreign versions that are already live? Or is it this limited even in the full version?

Love the game, but this worries me. Anyone know?

The game is in Closed Beta at the moment. It's not supposed to be talked about here in the forums. At least until they tell us it's alright.

I agree, id personaly like to see mroe customization opts. I mean even L2s pathetic attempt of 4 hair styles/colors/faces seems like a godsend at this point. The game kicks ass but i would some personalization. The other thing is that even though u can use costume items they are categorized by lv/class so it serves no purpose since ever wizard at lv 36 will have the SAME costume options.

So i do hope they will expend on this feature.

Actually it is alright. there never was an NDA to begin with.

to my knowledge, in other versions, you can buy new hairstyle's from the cash shop.

Cool, a game where you can talk about it in closed beta, a first! I was luckily enough to be able to play this game myself. There are of course several things that needs to be added but i love the whole idea of never having to be a the group with other people. The characters speaking ect, adds so much to battling and just walking around on the outsides of town. There's a ton of new stuff i'm sure that they haven't even put in for us yet. I'm sure customization will be included later once we closed testers find and cure all of the bugs. Oh, and the tutorial in this game was one of the best and easiest I've ever played. Look for the family name Lamato

August family here. And my girlfriend's family goes by the name Bartley. You'll see us together often hopefully, if I can pull her away from watching Robotech long enough to play with me.

As for the cash shops for new hairstyles.....that kind of sucks, hardcore. I'm not a big fan of cash shops. It's like they take basic items that you don't really need because they're insignificant but really want because they're cool and should be included with the game anyway and charge you for it. I know it's a free game, and considering the content included that's a damn good deal, but something as simple as giving your character a different look (not just an extra 10 hairstyles to go along with the included 20, but simply a SECOND one to make yourself appear semi-unique!),  should not cost you extra!

I hope that's not going to happen in the American release, because that would be a serious black eye to an otherwise awesome game so far.

Also, some kind of trade skills/anything to do other than fight and pose would be nice. That there is the difference between a video game |MMORPG and a MMORPG that feels like another world. Haven't felt that since the Ultima days.

Most asian-origin mmorpg:s do not care about an NDA-agreement for betas, Granada Espada is one of them. (The beta forums are public even).

On the subject of the game: its very very polished (only found 2 minor bugs) & the graphics engine is good at showing nice stuff even with crap videocards (as good as GuildWars engine I think).
Without the MCC-system (Multi Character Control) this would be like any other mmorpg out there, now with several characters it makes it very different. Also it seems like the devs try to look for meaningless downtime which is very good.
