    awesome, thanks :) some of the screens look great, like the one with the bright wizard casting a fire ball or something, and the one with the black orc with the skull shield

    I stopped following the game....

    It's just unimpressed me sooo much recently and the graphics do look pants.

    Thanks for the link and the heads-up. Those artists have a really, really nice sense of style. From what I've seen of Warhammer (never played, seriously considered it a number of times, but done TONS of research) they've captured the look of the creatures from the tabletop game very nicely.



    Really looking forward to how this game turns out.

    Almost sure half of them are from the press confrance at the start of the month, but no matter the dwarfs are were my intrest lies and there all new to me, oh and look sexual

    Very cool, I can't believe the level of information they're giving out so early, it looks like they could release it next month already!

    Waiting for this game at the end of the year is going to be inscrutiatingly painful but so worth it!

    The comparrison to WOW due to the low poly texturing(which somehow WOW own the market on?) is aesthetically changing in my eyes.  The humanoid races from WAR as compared to WOW there is a clear difference.  Also the environment seems to be a alot different as compared to WOW.  I wish people would look critically at these works of art and see the differences i do

    Man the houses sure do look like the ones from DAOC. Boy do I miss that game, WAR cannot come out fast enough, and I can't imagine sacking a captial city, hell a relic raid was an adrelin rush enough, that will be like a relic raid x 100.

    I've always loved Warhammer art but to me this game isn't warhammer : i prefer WOW's art style and graphics engine to this games.

    to me this game looks exactly how i imagined warhammer to look, so im happy.

    In a free society if you don't like something, then you don't read/watch/play/whatever that "thing" I can't get over the fact that people who don't like the "thing" continually want to ruin it for those that do like it.

    It's established, WAR is not WOW.

    If you like WOW and not WAR, play WOW and not WAR, simple isn't it.

    Instead of wasting your efforts degrading WAR for those who like it, focus those efforts on enjoying and perhaps improving that which you do like, also it seems to me all the lovers of WOW and haters of WAR spend more time posting how much WOW is great and WAR is not that when the hell do they play WOW?

    Feel free to substiture "WOW" with whatever game the troll is talking about, it pretty much applies to all other games.

    I think people doing that are interested in WAR but afraid to commit to it in case it turns out bad.



    Or are just so bored of their game they praise because they have gotten tired of it but can't leave because their friends still play and it would feel bad to leave all hard work done in the game.



    Sad in many ways but I for one doesn't care much to leave on game for another ^^

    Wow this is really progressing nice. The dwarven engineer with the visor looks pretty freakin sweet. Also the black orc looks absolutely badass.



    I'm very impressed with the transition from the table top to captured computer animation and models. Can't wait to see the Dark Elves!!!

    Not a flame.... poly for poly In those screen WAR seems to use a similar number to WOW, which is great means it will have a smooth fps even on my 9800pro laptop which i run WOW on at max at 35-50fps.  And just like Blizz Mythic have done a great job at the textures to hide th elow poly count... good stuff all round.. now does it play good?

    All of these screenshots were posted at the beggining of the month (actually end of January) but its always nice to see them again (yay). The Orcs and Goblin (Squig Herder) look bad ass in those screenshots not to mention I love the look of the buildings (for the Empire I assume, the tower and stone cottage at least). All around quite a stunning game I am really atracted to the asthetics of it.

    I'm probably lacking in thought of just seeing them all over again, and at the time Empire and Chaos were new on the block so probably stuck most, I love the dwarf witht eh two hammers and the winged helm,  just lovely.

    In game graphics dont look anywhere near as good as concept art : The DAOC engine is OLD............... SOE cuda made it with the Unreal 3 engine.
