A few questions about Guild Wars

Okay, so someone in my other thread recommended Guild Wars: Nightfall to me. I went to the Wiki page to check it out and it says that I also need Factions in order to get Assassin and Ritualist classes. So are these like expansion packs? How do I get Factions upgraded to Nightfall? This is quite confusing :P

    you can buy the NF box seprate. Its it own standalone game. They are not really exp. packs.

    So how do I get Assassin and Ritualist in NF?

    Also if you want to travel to the lands in the other games or use the classes from factions you will need to buy those. But you can still play NF without the other games.

    Okay. Thanks. I have some friends who used to play GW and don't anymore. Can you only have 1 account per game or can they let me buy the cds from them for like $5 or do I have to buy them retail? Is buying a friend's old cds to use against the ToS?

    Well, you actually dont need the CD's you can download the client at guildwars.com. But you still need to buy a CD key. Either online or retail. But an account is not bound to the CD's

    You need to have factions to have access to ritualists and assasins.



    Selling an old account is probably against the eula, but how are they goona find out

    Edit: I don't want their account, just their cd key.

    Their cd key is their account. Every account in game has its own cd key. So you really counldnt buy that from youre friend,unless their willing to give you everything they have on that account.
