If this game had randomized dungeons and randomized traps, it would be AMAZING.
The fact would remain that you couldn't memorize the map, because it's never the same, and you can't memorize the traps, because they are always randomly placed. Also, you'd have to make the traps more deadly.
The game would be near-perfect if players didn't run through the same maps over and over, knowing EXACTLY where the traps are (ruining the entire experience for both the rogue and the new players) or just running through the traps because they do so little damage it doesn't even matter.
The fact is that the group can just run straight through the same dungeon, running right into every trap and make it with all their health left, or they can run through the dungeon, memorizing every mob, every trap, when to stop, etc. etc.
Randomized and Deadly traps and dungeons would make the game FUN, the groups wouldn't rush (or else they'd die) and the game would thus become A LOT better.
Another alternative (or addition to this idea) is to allow players to create their own dungeons and be a DM.
This would not just save the game, it would also bring in TONS of players, TONS of money, TONS of new content, and would make the game absolutely stunning.
But the devs refuse to do this???? WHY?! It would revolutionize the game, and MMO's in general!
Instead, the devs sit back with a sparse amount of new content every now and then to a game that is deprived of content and full of repetitive dungeons, memorized traps, and veterans who ruin the immersion for the newbies.
WHY?!?!?!?
