dont bother with k2 or knight online just a waste of time

Well i played this game on and off since usko started and i got to say it has gone down the drain recently.

K2 is incapable of dealing with all problums that have surfaced.

The big problums are

1.   the 3rd party tool users  there are so many of them its is almost impossible to do your quests or even farm at the lower levels every where u go u see archers sitting down botting killing mobs 10 times faster then should be possible everything from the level 1 worms to apos/deru are being botted at. There are even 3rd party tools that turn the completly useless hack shield XTRAP into a hack itself.  Now this problum could be kept under control with policeing by gms  but K2 seems to think that 1 gm for 1 or 2 worlds is enough to control the problum but as any noob knows one man can not cover 3 - 6 servers.  if k2 would hire enough gms for there to be 1 online in each of the 3 servers per world 24/7 this wouldnt be all that bad.  Now one of the biggest problums with the 3rd party tool users is the exp bug.  Alot of people used this to recieve between 7x- 32x the amount of normal exp resulting in a extreamly high amount of  players reaching levels that legit players have to play for a year or more to reach.  Colony Zone (the pk area for players above level 60 )  is basicly now level 70+ because of this bug  leaving players with 10 levels where pk is pointless and these 10 levels are some of the hardest to level do to half exp.  A legit player must spend a good hour or more to gain 1% exp at these levels and find a party is not easy anymore because of all the botting going on.

2. Duping has become a major problum.  the currency of this game is worthless for anything other then upgrade scrolls, pots, and noob gear.  for the most part there has been a Blessed upgrade scroll dupe active for over 3 months now.  People dupe 9999 bus and sell them to a npc this has resulted in the economy being flooded with so much coin that everyone has multiple accounts filled with the max amount of coin making it lose all its value.  If u wish to purchess a item that is worth anything at all u have to trade another item for it making it extreamly difficulte for a new player to get anywhere in the game.  Item duping has become a problum once again also. When firedrake was released k2 announce that item duping had been delt with once and for all and it was once again safe to purches items from ppl. They promised that you no longer have to worry about losing your items in a dupe wipe.  Well 5 month later they did there first dupe wipe since the release of the firedrake expansion and guess what...  almost everyone in all the servers lost atleast half there gear and on top of that the dupe wipe was performed incorrectly and alot of people lost items that were not duped for example quest jewelry which can not be traded or stored.    Just a few days ago k2 deleted all items from Bit Frost. Bit frost is a pvp area where u can farm extreamly hard mobs that drop fragments.  Fragments are turned into the chaotic genorator ( which is kinda like a giant slot machien)  these fragments can turn into some of the best unique jewelry and weapons in the game.  Well needless to say people were duping fragments So k2 deleted all unique's from the game that have been recieved from the generator even thouse that people got legitly.  This is just one of a hundred examples of normal players getting punished for things they had nothing to do with.

3. K2 itself  and in my opinion this is the biggest problum.  K2 has the slogon "gamers first"  but anyone who has played ko for any length of time knows that this is a complete and total lie.  There is NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT FOR THIS GAME PERIOD you are on your own.  If u play for free they stright out tell u you wont get support so there is no surprise there.  But for the premium players they promise replies from cs tickets with in 24 hours that is a lie ive never gotten one in less then 72 hours and they are usally automated responces.  If u get hacked and you are a premium player u will no recieve a roll back if your lucky and i mean extreamly lucky 1 or 2 months after u have been hacked they might give u some items IE my friend got hack he was a level 69 warrior he lost full shell set +7 raptor +7 dol +7 totamic spear +7 one handed giga axe +7  1 warrior earring +0 1 +1  2 rings of courage  warrior pendent and a iron belt and something like 18 gold bars worth of coin now he was a gold premiom user meaning he paid 25 a month to play this game for over a year..  So a month and a half after he was hacked k2 gave him shell set +3 a set of 7 str jewerly and a raptor +5  so he lost 800 gold bars (1 gb = 100 million coin) worth of equipment and k2 gave him 60gold bars worth of stuff back. to a true knight online player that is a blatent insulte just pouring salt into the wound.

also another problum k2 has is lieing to its players promising events that never happen.  for example last chrismiss k2 ran a event for 2 weeks called the cursed santa every 6 hours a so a giant snow man would appear outside of a castle that took hundreds of ppl to kill. now the lucky person who got the first hit on this monster snowman recieved a chrismiss present which k2 promised at the end of the event would turn into something good as in unique jewlery or something of the sort.  this got all the lil kiddies excited and there became a nice market for these xmiss presents all the lil kiddies were trading for them in the hopes of getting some of the uniqe items u must have to even stand a chance in the pvp zones of this game. well it is now febuary 8th and there are hundreds of lil kids still sitting under there tree waiting to open there presents. now this is basicly for par with k2 75% of the things they announce on there web site never happen.  and most of the ongoing events they advertise on there main web site have been shut down because they are to buggy and players (mostly one kind of player ill get into that later) were using to cheat.

ok i could keep going and going about the stuff k2 has done to ruin this game but ill just put in one more thing.  Free2Play  yes this game is free2play free2download but you will only be able to log on without paying for priemium in a very small window of time. for server 1 which is the only server where u can pk and do the events such as war you will be lucky if u can log on between 8pm and 2am central time.   Now for war the main point of this game if you are not premium you probably wont be able to participate even if your lucky to get on and just sit afk till war starts most of the time there is a mass dc right before war so it tends to be a premium only event

4.  The language problum.  Well when i first start back in 04 this game was great small but fun and 90% of the people playing it where from the us or atleast spoke english. Now acouple years later 95% of all english speakers have been driven away from this game if u speak english most likely you will find it extreamly hard to find a clan or even a party to level with where u understand what people are saying. Now the biggest group of players are from Turkey. 99% of the time that is the only language u will see.  When the turks came is when the Cheating got out of control. Now i dont want to sound racest i have met many cool turkish people on this game and one of my best e-friends is a turk but if u play this game u will experiance non stop problums with these players they are extreamly rude and most of them hate americans if u speak english u will recieve many pm saying things like "I fak your mother"  or the classic "gýve me your ýtems" (notice the ý instead of the letter i thats how u can tell you are talking to a turkish player)  then when u say no they start with the swearing and so on and so forth.  Even the few legit turkish players will admit to u that the turkish community has ruined the game for 99% of the players but k2 will not do anything about this because they have drivien off all the other players because of there complete lack of customer support and other problums they rely on the turkish community to pay there bills..      So basicly if u want to talk to everyone u better learn how to speak turkish

well i could keep going and going with the proublums of this game but im sick of typeing about it so if u want to check out a great game that is being run into the ground by a horrible company give it a try  

Oh forgot to tell you all that K2 networks does have the worst possible rating with the better buisness bureau so be carefull if u decide to give them money. They are famus for double and tripple charging credit cards and if you call your cc compandy to stop the payment they will delete your account and claim payment fraud lol
