Persistent?

in Lord of the Rings Online

I have a beta invite but it takes forever downloading the client and they handle it in a crummy way imo...

BUT anyway I just wanted to know if the world in LOTRO feels persistent? I remember when I was in the first stage of beta you had to do a little zone just to go inside any building,and you had to zone to get to anywhere, kinda like DDO but worse, is it still like that? Because if it is, I won't bother downloading the beta and or buying the game? I know the zoning takes like 4 seconds but still, it's a game killer for me..Thanks.

    There is some zoning, but the main world is mostly seamless. It is good.

    Currently: Playing EVE Online
    Previous: FFXI, Dragonrealms, sad little stint in WOWland.
    Awaiting: Fallen Earth, Hero''s Journey, Tabula Rasa, Age of Conan.
