FLYFF (Fly For Fun
), aside from being free, is a horrid excuse for an MMORPG. The premise/plot seems to be lacking as my only understanding of the story was to get your character to fly for free. This takes alot of time as to progress with your flying you need to level up and get money which takes quite a while. Did I mention how monotonous it is while leveling up? The scenery appears to be all the same and the monsters are about as original as bumblebee tuna. Although it is fun for about 5 minutes to engage in a new world, it ultimately becomes so repetitive that you wished you had saved the space for something more interesting (and free) like Anarchy Online or Silk Road.
Looking for a free MMORPG that will entertain you on the weekends? Looking for a free MMORPG to play habitually? Looking for a free MMORPG just to try out?
If you answered yes to any of these questions--don't play FLYFF--it's a waste of time and space on your computer.
But hey, don't take it from me; I'd love to hear other people's impressions. So to all who have tried this game--what are your general thoughts?

FlyFF actually means "Fly For Fun"
Anyways, it was the only game I could get my "girlfriend-at-the-time" to play. Got to level 16 I believe and quit. I love the anime-style games like this and ROSE. It's a *decent* F2P MMORPG.I'm thinking of starting back up, too. I don't have any other games to play. Anyone recommend one?
Haha, oops.. mistake corrected.
And I do agree that the Anime style graphics are a bit refreshing in a world dominated by fantasy realism (oxymoron, idn't it?). However, oh man.. like the other person said, once you can fly.. why play? For that matter, what's the incentive to fly? You still experience the same dull levels.
