I never once showed an ounce of interest in this game throughout it's development and when the game went into beta. That all changed when I watched the new Gameplay Movie found here just to see how different it really was;
I'm really enjoying it so far, the web management part of the game is great, and you can micro manage many parts of the game. I enjoy killing mobs and completing quests in the 3D RTS client in the hope of getting good loot, then going to the web management and equipping my army with loot I collected from the 3D RTS client. It's definately worth trying at least. When you load up the RTS client, you're automatically in the HELP channel, and people are always willing to help, the community has really helped me understand the game alot so far, since the games manual and wiki site are currently incomplete which is a shame, although people are working on these.
Although it's a slow burning game, and learning the game for the first few days is very daunting, since there is alot to grasp, this game is definately deep, and will probably put people off, but if you like managing cities, which thus, improve your armies capabilties so you can take on tougher monsters/quests and do better in PVP, it makes for very addictive gameplay since you have so much control over how well or bad you do. I'm still learning alot of the game myself at the moment, and I'm glad I made an impulse decision to buy it, cheap enough anyway.
I was also wondering if they're going to decide to put a trial up any soon..
Because as someone said in a previous post, I don't feel like spending 20 bucks on something I might not like later, which happened to me quite a few times already (I've learned from my experiences )
Any info is appriciated, you can also pm me if you want.
The game designer of this game have been showing himself off alot and from what i read he seems like a really bright designer which is uncommon these days (alot of mind-numbed people). It is kindof a indie game developer tho who has financed the game upon loads of different investers in sweden and all the developers of this game come from University of Skövde which is the top-class college for computer game development in sweden and lockpick is the most successful people from there. So this is the new generation of swedish developers and sweden brought games like the Battlefield series, Riddick, Ground Control, GR: Advanced Warfighter PC Version. I think these are definatly good developers and is steadily improving and since its a MMO the game will improve with them.
well the game is quite diffirent to say the least, played it for one day now, and damn you need to think a lot more then in other mmo's
it's a quite daring move imo to do a combination of a client mmo and webbased mmo, but so far i'm enjoying nice people in the guild i'm in and people are quite helpful.
but to be honest i think a lot of people won't have the patience or accept the new playstyle in this mmo, but still it's quite nice for the people that like it, i hope the developer gets enough subscribers.
ps i just got owned by this guy in the third storyline quest, i thought he was gonna be an easy kill he WTF PWNED my dreamlord

Same goes for anybody else who has tried it. I don't want to waste 20 dollars if it's no good.
