Quote from the end of first review:
"Yet we have to admit that if first impressions are right, it's shaping up to be the first true WoW-beater we've played. Not because it radically changes the WoW formula, but because it uses the exact same formula. Only this time around the formula has been improved, and is now used in a setting that most of us can relate to."

: )
I wasn't looking for a WOW killer when I started beta, just a different MMO that was fun.
and I found it.
i rolled a hobbit and ran out of the village into a field with tall grass, great trees and I wet my self when I walked passed the lake, best looking MMO I've played..
This is the only game that will drag me from WoW.
So what I have done so far in beta is just about every side quest in Archet, Combe, Bree, and Staddle(around 60ish.. it took 2 sittings to get Bree-Land final quest whore accomplishment =P). I also have been playing a lot of monster play.
It is gorgeous to look at and runs super smooth on Very High on a 6600GT. If not for my craptastic memory and hard drive, the city slowdowns would be negligible.

I wish that Turbine was a publicy traded company, i would have bought at least two blocks of their stock a couple of months ago.

Too bad they aren't going to find it in this game. Need I remind you, most player jump ship for any game they either have grown tired of or have already complete. Just a reminder that people aren't being force to play WoW, they are playing WoW because it's a good game and like every game gets boring.
