Age of Conan beta video - So real that it's actually real

I found this on youtube.  I thought it was pretty hilarious.  The caption:

    I'm starting to lose faith in AOC, judging from that trailer you can obviously see that player level and gear is still the deciding factor in PvP. The graphics suck, not even one spell effect or glow post-effect. The colours are always the same, just different shades of brown and gray.



    The dance emotes are pretty cool tho.

    Obviously someone ganking a bunch of newbs to try to make the game look better...nothing more. Graphics aren't bad though...

    The guy looks like a wuss and it shows the typical "even 30 lvl 10 guys cant beat a lvl 40".

    How disappointing!

    Uhh...ROFL! omg....who ever posted that on youtube is so ripping people's legs with that.   ... scene's of Brad Pitt in Troy...who the hell would actually fall for that?

    that is pretty funny to put the two together. it must be a video of end game cuz he was pwning them all no probs. The people he was fighting must have been much lower lvl since he was 1 shoting them

    Not a fan of the character models or the armor though I must say  the animations were good.

    Now the audio? *shakes head*..yikes!!

    Don't listen to them.  They're just a troll who doesn't want to admit that Age of Conan's graphics are the best.

    Man im glad I havnt bothered to watch that move (troy is it ??). Thats some of the lamest combat of that period Ive ever seen. Looks like it was coreographed by Cindy Lauper. How to take some good gritty subject matter and make it so shiny it loses all its appeal.

    As for the AoC footage.... do we REALLY need numbers popping up out of thin air when you hit things. When are developers going to get over the whole "maths battle" thing. Id like to do a sendup by getting that troy footage and having numbers pop up when they hit each other.... its about the only way you could make it more stupid than it already is.

    I suppose no one has seen the show Rome?

    Now there is some pretty awesome and realistic figthing, frankly Troy pales in comparison.

    I would encourage anyone, ( anyone old enough ), to really check that show out, one of the best ever made IMHO.
