Yes they do, but there is still some tweaking left to do for it. For example, on pvp server, when looking at peeps who are LFG, it does not say which race they are, or if they are with shadow or order, so sometimes you invite them and realizze they cant join cause they are of oppositr faction. For now, region chat is the bets way to find a group, and people usually invit eme within 1 minute of a request for a group. I know the LFG system was a main concern for them so it shouldnt be too long till its tweaked, but regionchat works finre for now. no complaint from me.
Click the icon with the pics of hands shaking (Social/Community). Then select the LFG tab to flag your self as LFG.
This will set it so it says "LFG" over your head. Once you are flagged as LFG your name will appear in a list of all players flagged as "LFG." Existing (or forming) groups can then see your name and info in the list and can invite you if they need your skills/class.
If you have a mind to form your own group, simply pull up the list of people who are LFG. Hit the refresh tab. The list will display each players level and location. Select the players you need and hit the Invite button.
(note that there are also some tabs/pages at the bottom of the Social window, like Friends, etc.)
I miss the good ol' days when nerds were actually intelligent.
/lfm will bring up a window in which you can specify classes, level range, and a comment (description) so that players who are LFG can find your group.

Under socials ("O").
It's just pretty useless, because most ppl either solo or stick to guildmates.
People don't ask questions to get answers - they ask questions to show how smart they are. - Dogbert

And there is also the lesser known LFM function.
